Overall these locks are pretty impressive, they offer a much higher security than your standard locks from the hardware store. Compared to these standard locks they are expensive (though if you are not familiar yet with the concept of buy once, cry once, then maybe these locks are not for you). Trialing it with my 2’ Abus 12k (1/2”) chain.Pros:It’s light weight. Bolt feels nice.Cons:The keys feel cheap (china cheap).Barely the first couple hours and The blue paint is already being scrapping away. Once again doesn’t feel American made.

This is a heavy duty lock and seams quite strong. However, after a few months of ownership and exposure to the weather, the stainless steel shanks are rusting badly; "buyer beware." Also, be mindful of the shank diameter for this lock is fat and may not fit your particular application.

Tough lock when paired with 12mm chains it doesn’t leave any room for someone to try to cut the bolt on the lock.

Bought this to use for locking a trailer. I love the fact that I was able to have the lock keyed-alike with my hitch receiver lock - meaning I only need one key for all locks on the trailer. PACLOCK comes through again.

Purchased for my trailer tongue locks. The locking shaft is lose so even the slightest pressure causes misalignment. The lock will not close. Purchased several for this application. Expensive failure.

I bought two of these locks for a U-haul truck and U-haul trailer. The lock fits the truck no issue, but would not fit the trailer. Less than a week from receiving the item I tried to return the one lock meant for the trailer and was informed returns aren’t authorized. Very frustrating to say the least!!! So be sure you know this lock will work on what you intend to use it with otherwise you’re just wasting money on a very expensive lock.
