Muscle Cars (First Gear)

I saw this book at a book store for twice the Amazon price, so you know what I did. Some books like this are long on words and short on photos. This one is the opposite; one of the reasons I wanted it. I grew up and participated in the muscle car era of the 60's and 70's and looked forward to going back to that time with more photos and less words. I remember the details but wanted to visually remember the cars. This book did that by using excellent photos of high quality cars from that era. I don't know how many photos there are, but there are 240 pages, so there must be over 400 great photos. This is a great book, I highly recommend it and will be looking and reading for a long time. The contents of this book is excellent, but being honest, Kindle edition demerits the experience of it because pictures are not big enough and if you try to zoom in in any of them, it will get pixelated. If you are someone who travels constantly or have space issues or something like that, Kindle edition is a good enough option, but if not, I suggest going for the paper edition.For the record, I use Kindle for iPad.

I was looking for a car book for a 7 year old without all the inappropriate "girlie" pictures like in all the magazines on the racks. This book was perfect. It arrived on time....in perfect condition....and really made my grandson happy. Thank you.

The book has lots of color - all color pictures of the cars, their engines, and interiors. Chapters on each brand listed and different models in the chapters. Nice book to have. I am glad I bought it.

Great History & Information.

That it was a good book that I have read so far this year and I want to learn more about cars or trucks and how they work and it would be good for me to learn that it would help me later in my life so that I will know how to fix the problem out and won't have to take it some where to get fixed. That is why I think that it is best for me.
