BUCKLERCore' Series - Kip Leather Baseball Gloves - Infielder - 11.5" - Right-Hand-Throw

As a youth coach and the dad of a rising SS, you catch a lot of baseballs. You display and teach proper fielding techniques over and over again. With this being said, you need a solid performing glove. I sat out to find the best glove for the price. I will say, our travel team is sponsored by a famous glove brand which gives us a pretty good discount. I needed a new glove quickly and let's face it, not many places can beat Amazon's shipping. I purchased the Buckler Core through Amazon and could have never been happier. I can say this as I've compared this glove to the top tier gloves from other brands (even custom gloves). After one (1) year I can say this is hands down the better glove and at least $100 less than the others. My specific glove is a 11.5" infield model. After one year this glove has held its shape and pocket is perfect size for easy transitions. After using this glove my son now runs Buckler exclusively. He goes to his Buckler over his two custom gloves by other brands. We even purchased the 10" training glove for practice. Do yourself a favor and purchase a Buckler. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Decent glove, basically a Wilson clone. Leather in the palm is a little thin and the thumb and pinky leather straps inside the glove seem like they will stretch out over time. Overall build quality is good. The glove will require break in time so don’t think it will be game ready the next day. Over all for the price it’s a decent glove. Good for 12 to 15 year old players in my opinion. It’s no pro preferred, heart of the hide, or any other pro style glove.

This is a $300 glove for $180. Very high quality and I will be ordering another. I have a men's size large hand and it fits me great. I adjusted the wrist strap smaller and now it fits my 9 year old great. It's actually his glove. I broke it in, well enough to play with in 2 days. Here's what I did: 1) ordered a glove mallet with ball on one side, skinny on the other. 2) get faucet water running as hot as possible and run water over glove, but not inside it, for about 30 seconds. 3) Beat and shape the glove as desired. Flip inside out and beat that way as well. The leather is much easier to work with while wet. Beat for about 20 minutes and expand pocket as well. 4) Close glove around mallet or a ball and wedge it between your dash and windshield of car outside. Let it completely dry (3 or 4 hours in CA summer). Glove will be stiff again but in closed position. 5) Work with glove and beat it some more to loosen up. The glove will now be usable. 6) Repeat the process again the next day. Condition the glove and it will be ready to go. Not 100% broken in but good enough to play with. Note: The skinny end of the mallet is used to open up the finger stalls after all the beating.

Went through a few gloves around this price before settling on this one. Breaks in great. Very comfortable. Just a really strong performer.

For starters, I had to return this purchase but will explain. This was a purchase for my 13U son. Very well made glove. Leather felt great. Firm feel which should lead to a great glove after break-in process. Finger stalls are a little tight for a larger hand (which I have, but wasn't a problem for my son). This glove was purchased at same time as another glove and son's personal preference was for the other glove. If the finger stalls were a little less tight, I would have kept for myself. That is reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars.

No dislikes at all. Perfect glove and great price. I gave lend it to about 5 of my friends and they couldnt believe how good it was for the price.

Leather is super cheap and no good

I bought this glove for my baseball fanatic nephew who is on a traveling club team. He is in LOVE with his new glove. Fantastic stitching and super high quality leather. Great buy!!
