I really liked these. They worked really well! Disappointed that they discontinued them.

Didn't work at all for me.

I generally don't have sleeping issues. I try to eat healthy, I exercise daily and I do everything I need to end my day with a clean conscience. I have worked hard over the years to train myself to let go of things that are outside of my control. "It isn't a problem until it is a problem" is my mantra. However, life happens. My stress level has been through the roof with job stress, kid stress, family stress, dog stress (RIP) and individually it wouldn't be a problem but together with Daylight Savings Time it just caused a hurdle I couldn't get over with help. So when I was given the opportunity to evaluate this product, I jumped at the chance. In the past I have used other natural sleep aids when I need it but it is maybe 2 weeks per year when I need to change my sleep schedule or I let stress get to me.Prior to DST the overall stress had me awake for probably a half hour 2-3 times per night for about 3 weeks. I would try to "catch up" on my sleep on the weekends. DST hit and it went from 2-3 times per night to 2-5 times per night for up to 2 hours. Do the math; I wasn't actually sleeping. One night I was only up twice but one of those times was for nearly 4 hours.I started taking the full dose from the start once receiving Smart Sleep. For me, Smart Sleep takes approximately one hour to really make me have to fight to keep my eyes open. For my wife it takes around 30 minutes and she is out like a light. Night one I was fast asleep in around one and a half hours and woke up once around 6am (an hour before the alarm goes off) and sometime between then and the alarm I managed to sleep some more. My wife slept all the way to the alarm. The 3 nights since then have been similar except that I am falling asleep within an hour but I am still waking up once around 5am or 6am while my wife is only waking up if something (like me getting up or the kid having a nightmare) is waking her up. It works great for my wife but I seem to be metabolizing it faster, which is typical with me on most things.So it comes down to how to rate Smart Sleep. The sleep I get with Smart Sleep is deep so even when I am only getting 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep, it is very quality sleep. Other products I have used, a natural time-released version for example makes me sleepy longer but the sleep I was getting wasn't as deep, I was still having lingering thoughts before falling asleep and as I was waking up which made me wonder if I was even sleeping. Smart Sleep is definitely on par with the other product I have used that is not time released and actually the sleep feels a level more deep with Sleep Smart. I can't give it 5 stars because it just doesn't last for me to get that full 7+ hours (but so far, no OTC sleep aid has done that for me). I would give it a 4.5 stars if I could because most medications don't last as long for me as most people so I can't really say it is on the product to get me there. I received these SC Natural Sleep Smart Vegetarian Dietary Supplements just about two weeks ago . I used these supplements every evening now . These things are great. I work 3rd shift and I take 1-2, depending on how tired I am, about 30 minutes before laying down. Put me right to sleep and I sleep well for 8 hours. Will purchase again
