ThrustmasterTS-XW Servo Base - High-Performance Force Feedback Racing Wheel Base for PC and Xbox Series X|S

Ever raced around a track at full tilt and smashing the laps record?! No me neither that's why I do it on a "simulator" I have 5+ years of SIM racing experience and I have won a few league championships with this, for the price you can't go wrong in the time I've owned it out had never let me down and if you're a casual SIM racer this base is plenty, yes it may not have 10+ nm of torque bit it does have enough to hurt you when it spins round and snacks your thumb(ask me how I know about this) but light-heartedness out of the way this is a great wheel base and if you already have had a tm base before it is a great upgrade also I only seem to run this on roughly 80% as it is plenty of torque anyways if you get this base you won't be disappointed

Great for going online and crashing into people on races. I like it, I like it a lot!A brilliant piece of kit well worth buying. Really can’t fault it.

The first time I bought this, the inside belt kept skipping and broke within 20 minutes, the second one had very slight slipping, but i ignored it since i didn't want to return another one and it wasn't too bad, and then very recently, right after the warranty ran out, the belt just completed died, overall i would not recommend this for such a price when the quality of the item is not very good, if i could get a refund then i would

Great purchase from Amazon, but had to send it back to Thrust master in France as the fixing threads on the base of the unit were not right, got it back about a week later, all ok.

Wheel is powerful and has a good centering speed the additional weight feels good compared to my TX wheel everything is solid and well built my only complaint would be that the fans start as soon as you begin racing the TX would wait until it warmed up before fans kicked in. But the constant force and more detailed feedback are well worth it, it has made assetto Corsa competitzione more fun for sure so much more feel from the cars the wheel makes slides more predictable and easier to catch imagine TX or T300 with everything improved in almost all areas I also think it looks cool with its red metal accents I would for sure recommend I'll likely pick up the tlcm pedals next.

Base works amazing definitely and amazing upgrade from the tx base only problem is when I carefully pulled the sticker off the pain came off with it so now it looks terrible

I got this servo 2 weeks ago and I have a fault. I spoke to thrustmaster and sent them a video of the problem and they agree it's a fault with the motor and amazon would warrant there guaranteeand replace it . Spoke to amazon and they said they will only refund me once the recive the servo and I will have to but another one which is going to cost me more money I haven't got as I got it when it was on offer and now its not.

En verdad es otra dimensión en el manejo, yo usaba el tx,no es malo,pero este es superior en todos los sentidos si eres aficionado a los simuladores, sobre todo de f1 esta es tu mejor decisión.

I like Thrustmaster wheel bases, is the company I started with, going from a Tmx to this one is a huge upgrade, the feel is amazing, and isn’t as loud as i thought it would be, the design is beautiful, and I’m loving it! I can definitely improve my driving style with it!

Après 1 ans et demie d'utilisation a raison d'une heure en semaine et 4 a 5heure le weekend , ne bouge pas , le système de refroidissement est remarquable , le ffb reste constant , le ventilateur par contre vu ça taille 4cm*4cm commence a faire du bruit normal ,

Dopo circa due mesi di utilizzo e di vari test posso dire la mia su questo servo della thrustmaster.CONFEZIONELe confezioni della thrustmaster sono sempre ben curate esteticamente con delle grafiche rappresentanti il prodotto in sé è un illustrazione dei vari prodotti di questo marchio.Il servo all’interno nello scatolo è ben custodito da una sorta di involucro di polistirolo e oltre al servo troveremo il supporto di fissaggio è i cavi di alimentazione con annesso alimentatore e il cavo di collegamento usb.IL PRODOTTOMateriali:Il servo a differenza di tanti altri componenti da gaming di questo settore è realizzato con una struttura in metallo che ne garantisce sia la solidità che è anche una sorta di dissipazione del calore. La parte centrale invece della ghiera è composta in ABS molto spesso e solido come anche il supporto di ancoraggio.Nella parte posteriore invece troveremo oltre a delle feritoie per il passaggio del calore le porte di collegamento usb che va al PC e la porta per il collegamento di pedaliera e cambio.Vinse la struttura è abbastanza pesante e ben costruita anche se nel lungo andare per le vibrazioni qualche vite si sviterà e dovrà essere di nuovo riavvitata.A differenza di altri servo questo modello ha una piccola ventola che si attiverà nel momento in cui si accende il servo così da garantirne sempre la freschezza dei componenti.Alimentatore è di notevoli dimensioni con la forma di un turbocompressore e ha un peso importante.Caratteristiche:Questo prodotto a differenza di altri ha delle caratteristiche che lo rendono di una fascia superiore rispetto ai servi entry level.Intanto l'installazione è molto semplice basterà scaricare dal sito il software di questo prodotto dal quale possiamo settare angolo di sterzata e la potenza del feedback.Già avviato per la prima volta un gioco sentirete subito la differenza con altri servo sentendo tutti i dettagli della pista in uso sia quando passiamo su cordoli ma anche quando l'asfalto ha qualche piccola imperfezione la percepiremo in modo molto dettagliato al volante.Un'altra bella caratteristica è quella di farci percepire quando la macchina sta andando in sottosterzo o in sovrasterzo dandoci proprio la sensazione della macchina che perde aderenza.È inutile dire che la forza g che crea la macchina verrà simulata dal volante dandogli una sorta di irrigidimento del volante che ovviamente potremo settare se sentirlo più o meno forte.Io personalmente tengo tutti i settaggi al 50%, perché al 100% del force feedback la forza è davvero elevata dando quasi una sorta di fastidio per la forza che dovremo imporre allo sterzo. Ovviamente questa è una cosa personale e a gusto proprio, a parer mio il miglior settaggio per gustarsi un gioco di simulazione è quello del 50% del force feedback dello sterzo mentre il force feedback dei dettagli della pista tra il 60 e il 70%.CONCLUSIONIÈ un servo che si piazza in una fascia di mercato che va oltre l'entry level è il medio gamma è che sta leggermente un gradino più sotto dei prodotti sim racing professionali. Un prodotto per chi non vuole spendere tantissimo ma avere un prodotto professionale.Funziona benissimo con giochi come assetto corsa e iracing restituendo sensazioni davvero professionali ma altrettanto divertente con giochi meno simulativi come forza Horizon e Need for Speed.Non ho trovato grossi lati negativi forse per i più pignoli potrebbe essere la ventolina che si avverte come anche il rumore della cinghia, ma giocando con cuffie o comunque con un sistema audio adeguato sarà un dettaglio a cui non faremo caso.
