These are a great help in getting my insulin shots in other places. My doctors are even interested in these. They are a great help and make injections so much easier.

Was not compatible with my syringe. Nice packaging, despite me being unable to use it I will keep for if ever the need changes.

After seeing all the 5 star reviews, I decided to give this insulin injection aid a try. I followed instructions as given, but this product does not work. For me, it was a waste of insulin. Instead of injecting subcutaneously, it ran all over the place no matter where I tried using it.

When I first came across this, I thought, "This looks like it would be very helpful." However, I wasn't willing to pay almost $30 for it. Then, when it got down to a little less than $15, I ordered it. The first time I tried it, I followed the directions exactly, but when I tried to take the inner cap off, it wouldn't budge. So, I took it to my husband, thinking that maybe I missed something. He looked at it and agreed that I had followed the directions as written. Oh, and I use 4mm needles, so I had the right size.So, the second time I tried it, I took the inner cap off and then put the injection aid on over it. However, when I tried to place the needle in, the aid was sticking out way too far, and I couldn't get the needle in my skin. It was a real disappointment because I thought this would really help with my hand that shakes at times.The reason I gave this three stars instead of two is because I do think it's a great concept and, it appears that it does work for some people. I think they should redesign this and make the sides a bit shorter. If they do that eventually, I'll try it again. In the meantime, just be aware that it may or may not work for you.
