This GRILLED recipe appears to help with the quality of our Lab's elimination. I've very carefully transitioned from the Blue Buffalo Pate (weight management) recipe and there seems to be an improvement on her digestive system.Also, I've cut back on the Blue Buffalo weight management kibble as well. These changes seem to be the current balance of feeding for stopping the loose elimination and giving her a better balance of protein to moisture ratio. So then, moving forward, I'm gradually feeding more of the GRILLED Blue Buffalo food and plan to eventually stay with that recipe.This plan of care is due to seeing her liver enzyme levels much higher than normal. We plan to have another chem lab drawn soon to see if this regimen is working to improve her numbers. We give her Milk Thistle tabs 2X / day to aid in improving her liver function.

After we rescued our Great Pyrenees last July, she had a lot of diarhea and then a lot of anal gland problems. We played around with different dog foods to get a high fiber, flavorful product that would give her firm stools that were not too frequent. So far this is the best we've found. It is fairly pricy--we go through 2 large bags a month! But she seems healthy & happy on it.

We changed over from Canidae because it was not available in our area, however, after using Blue for a few months, we noticed a good change in our dog's poo and weight. We always try to get grain free because dogs are not designed to eat the same type of balanced diet as humans. There are many factors to take into consideration when you choose a dog food for your fur child. Yes, they are your family and you should treat them as such. You don't eat out of the bottom of your trash can, so why would you feed your dog food that is the bottom of your trash can? Exactly. So, do your research on your dog breed and dog food.It's said that dogs can not break down and metabolize complex carbohydrates and cereal grains so well. These fibers and grains that are difficult-to-digest will remain undigested in your dog's belly with the body relying mainly on fermentation to break them down. And that don't smell so good.When this has gone on for a long time, it can damage the lining of your dog's digestive system. They may end up with bowel disorders, food allergies and sensitivities, leaky gut and even obesity.🐶 THINGS TO REMEMBER🐾Check out the ingredients label on your dog’s food or on the brand’s website. They will have loads of valuable information on the dog food.🐾Never change dog food cold turkey. You need to slowly introduce the new dog food by mixing it in a little at a time. Rule of thumb is 25%, 50%, 75%, then 100%. Do this over the course of a few weeks so your dog’s digestive system has time to adjust. Also, you will want to keep an eye on your doggies poo to make sure they’re not constipated or suffering from diarrhea. If anything you are not comfortable with or not sure, call your Vet.🐾Change your dog's flavor every once in a while. Changing foods periodically helps to ensure that no dietary deficiencies or excesses build up over time. I mean you don't eat the same thing every day right? So why should they?We are very happy with Blue Buffalo Grain Free dog food and so are our dogs! 🐾🐾

Keep’s bandit healthy. Usually loves it, but occasionally cherry picks the topper we use and leaves this product.

We have a Siberian Husky. We purchase her at 9 weeks old. The dog food they sent me home with her gave her diarrhea. I switched dog food several times and in between put her on Chechen and Rice to clean out her digestion system. I finally tried Blue Buffalo Wilderness High Protein and the diarrhea stopped. It was a nightmare there for a while, but Blue Buffalo has given her and myself relief. I could not be more pleased.

My dog has been eating this product alternating with the salmon and chicken flavor for about a year. He eats it eagerly and it has not irritated his sensitive stomach. The last two orders have had a very changed consistency, runny rather than jelled. He has been having problems with vomiting and diarrhea. Can I be sure this is the cause? No, but I am cancelling our subscription and substituting a new flavor. Would be curious to know if others have experienced a similar problem.
