BEWARE DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR DOG
I've purchased these at the Petco for my dog before and have never had an issue; however, they are a bit expensive. I decided to purchase it through amazon because they are much cheaper. I noticed I gave it to my dog who usually loves these but would not eat it. A day later I broke it in half and then a little later my dog ate it. The next day my dog pooped inside of the house blood mixed with stool. This has never I repeat never happened to my dog. I wasn't sure what was causing it but later in the day my dog ate the other half of the bone and a few hours later he threw up. I bought him to the vet and thankfully he was okay; however I know for a fact this caused this. I would not recommend purchasing this product for your dogs it was a very scary experience.

.....I would not recommend...."Chinese sourced" supplements are added.
.......I would not recommend any "Blue Buffalo" dog foods , or treats , as "Chinese sourced " supplements are added to all their dog foods.

Rip Off, quantity unreliable
I’m subscribed to get 2 bags every month for our dogs and this month I opened both bags to find One had three bones and the other had five, what a rip off it should be the same amount in every bag! 3 bones is ridiculous for the price. I’m canceling my subscription.

Pissed Off
I bought this (have bought it before from Target - my dog loved them) and realized that my dog would not eat these, which was strange. So, I started breaking it in half because they are SO SO SO SO hard (the ones o got from Target we’re semi-hard, but more chewy) so he could eat them. Something sparked an interest today (I feel awful) to check the Best Buy Date and it says Jan 01 2020. I actually purchased these on February 23 2020. Today is June 06 2020. I am disappointed that someone in the distribution center, etc. did not assess this. It’s bad customer service to do so regardless on someone else’s opinion of a Best Buy Date. They had to sit on that shelf for a VERY long time. I’m incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied.

My 60lb dog seemed to enjoy these; however
My 60lb dog seemed to enjoy these; however, even though I watch that he isn't inhaling this treat, he ended up vomiting 70% of the time later in the day, containing a couple distinct undigested bits of this treat. For that reason, I will not be reordering this product.

Serious quality control issues
I used to buy these all the time for my dog a few years ago before switching to other treats. Just last week, I bought this product to try again and noticed a few odd things straight out of the bag - first, the bones seem unusually hard. They are supposed to be more rigid than others, but the bones in the bag I got were almost stale-like quality, dried, and weirdly hard to even break in half. Second - weird, uneven coloration/texture across the bones - I don't care about mild variations, whatever, but these looked like maybe some weird mold or something might be growing on them. Very odd. Finally - against my better judgement, I seemed to think giving my dog 1/2 of a bone to sample was a good idea....it was not!! While she ate it fast and seemed to enjoy it at the time, bathroom time today was not fun as she rid it from her back-end as fast as possible - literally explosive. The good news is she seems very relieved now after getting it out of her system.

Not Hard Bones but Soft Chews.
So Five Stars because my dogs loved it. But 1 star if you are looking to keep your large dog entertained. They are actually "soft" bones. I have 2 Labs and a Boxer. I want to say they ate the bones in less than 5 minutes.I later noticed it said dental chews---i should have known they were going to be soft. Any ways...if you are looking for a treat then this should work. If you are looking to get your pet a chew toy that enterains then this is NOT it.

Caution: Contains Whey, many dogs are allergic to it
These bones say that they're 'free from both grains and glutens.' but they contain whey, which is one of the most common canine allergens. My dog got very sick after eating these, started vomiting and couldn't eat for two days. The vet had me put her on a bland diet for two weeks, and now I am having to slowly re-introduce foods. So, unless you want to spend a lot of money on vet visits, home cook meals, and watch your baby suffer for a couple of weeks make sure your dog doesn't have a whey allergy before feeding these bones.
