I bought this because I heard copper neti pots were "the best". The problem is, the spout was too pointy and long (so it went too far in) and the hole where the water comes out was too small (so the stream was not at all strong). I thought I could fix it by cutting a bit off the tip of the spout, but when I did I saw that the tip is actually 2 pieces: an outside cone surrounding a smaller tube. The small tube is the limiting factor and no matter how short it is cut it will be a weak and narrow stream. I ended up throwing it out, since I could not, in fairness, return an item that I had damaged. But I would advise against purchasing this. I am sorry I did.

I am suspicious of he shiny silver joins. I am wondering if it is lead soldering. Either way contains more than just copper as advertised. I will no longer be using it as a Netipot. Do not want to risk introducing trace lead into my sinuses.
