Amazon Basics Stainless Steel Sauce Pan with Lid, 2.5-Quart

We have found this pan very valuable in the kitchen as cooking without it was just messy, and using a gas stove without this pan would just put out the fire, plus the cleanup was a horror show.Since buying this pan (decent price) Ive found the food is 1. edible. 2. easier to eat since Ive been able to serve it on proper plates etc.It's much easier to clean the pan than it is the stove top every meal. It does seem fairly well made for its price point and even when the stove is on ultra afterburner the handle doesn't get too hot to pick up and move.

I recently moved off campus in college so I needed to buy a pot to make pasta and mac and cheese. This works great. The top slides around a little bit but given I paid like $20 for it, I'm not complaining too much especially because it doesn't slide off, just not a perfect fit. The glass top makes it so I can easily see what I'm cooking which I like. Its plenty big for the box of mac and cheese and 1-2 servings of pasta that I use it for.

Everything on this 3 QT... Pan is extremely comfortable for cooking, the lid is vented, heavy glass slightly dome ..This is a good purchase...Pan is not thin stainless steel...handle does not get hot.

I'm always down for things that are a Great Value and Amazon Basics tends to come through.I cook and make all my meals and love all my kitchen tools that help me do it. But I'm also cheap, minimal and practical. It's a balance between having purpose driven items and items that can do a lot. A stainless steel sauce pan is both, and a must have in my kitchen. When used for its specific, but many, purposes this pan is the perfect size, well made, and quite the workhorse.Will it compare apples to apples with the highest end stainless steel cookware? Probably not. Will it equally perform against average stainless steel cookware if you use and treat it right? Most definitely. All at a bargain that can't be beat. My non-stick frying pan gets the most daily use, but this comes in second ahead of the cast iron in usage. I use it A LOT is what I'm saying. It has been up to task.Titular sauces, pasta, soups, and so on. You name something that belongs in stainless steel sauce pans, it'll do it. The bottom is thick and distributes heat. It reacts to acids as it should with no flavors imparted. It cleans up. It will even shine up if you're that type. Treat it and use it right and it'll reward you.Quite honestly my favorite purchase of 2022.

The handle on the lid does not get hot and I can't understand why. As soon as I got this pan I cooked my oatmeal while doing taxes and completely burned the oatmeal. I was so disappointed that I had probably ruined my pan. It washed up so easily, I was way impressed. I use the very lowest setting on my stove because this pan heats up so efficiently. This is the best pan I have ever used.

This is a good pot. I use it to make fufu. After about 20mins of soaking, and with a little bit of elbow grease I can easily wash the pot.

Der Topf ist aus ordentlich verarbeiteten, elegant gestalteten Edelstahl und macht für mein Empfinden optisch schon was her. Trotzdem wirkt der Topf inklusive Deckel nicht all zu schwer.Der Griff ist mit Nieten am Topf befestigt, was ich eigentlich nicht so toll finde, macht aber erstmal einen robusten und soliden Eindruck. Die Griffe bleiben auch bei längerer Erhitzung des Topfes lange kühl genug, das man sie ohne Probleme anfassen kann.Der Boden des Topfes wird schnell warm und erhitzt sich gleichmäßig.Der Glasdeckel passt optisch, als auch von dessen Abmessungen gut auf den Topf und schließt diesen gut ab. Das im Deckel eingelassene Ventil, verhindert lästiges Klappen des Deckels, wenn der Inhalt ordentlich kocht.Das man den Topf bei Temperaturen bis zu 500°C auch im Backofen verwenden kann, finde ich sehr gut.

C'est une très belle casserole en inox, qui dispose de son couvercle en verre.La prise en main est parfaite, les poignées tiennent bien et la queue de la casserole semble solide. J'apprécie le fait qu'un couvercle à la bonne dimension soit fournie.Les matériaux utilisés sont de très bonne qualité, et vont je pense durer dans le temps.Pour 25 euros lors de cette évaluation, je trouve le rapport qualité / prix très correct, c'est du solide !

I have been using this Stainless Steel sauce pan to cook all my delicious pasta (and it’s sauces), soups and even to warm up any left over foods. I am highly impressed by the quality of this (not so basic) AmazonBasics Saucepan. My food hasn’t stuck to the sides/base of the pan, and has cooked my food perfectly thanks to the great heat distribution! As it is stainless steel, the pan is easy to clean and cooks/warms up your food super quickly, so that means more time enjoying your food, and less time cooking/warming it up! It is a little heavy though, weighing 1.39kg, so may not be suitable for the elderly/children to use.The lid is well designed, nor the glass or the metal lid gets super hot upon warming up the pan, which is a nice safety feature. It also looks aesthetically pleasing and matches the aesthetics of my kitchen top beautifully! The 2.8L option facilities for a great capacity and is perfect for a family of 4-6 people!
