Anything by Simon Lovell is worth getting.

I've been performing amateur card magic for friends and family for many years. I wanted to learn some new tricks and this DVD more than met my expectations. Simon Lovell does a great job demonstrating and explaining some very clever and ingenious card magic.The tricks range from very easy for beginners to very advanced for pros. So far I've learned and found secrets to more than 20 great magic tricks. This DVD has so much great material that you will probably be learning new tricks for many months. A few tricks (not many) are too difficult for me because they require too many sleights. However, of the 30-40 tricks shown, at least half are easy enough for beginners to learn.Another company called Big Blind Media also sells good magic DVDs with great tricks. However, they charge $35-$40 for most of their DVDs. Furthermore, you would have to buy at least 3 of their DVDs to get as many tricks as you get with Super Suble Card Miracles. For all card magic fans out there, I highly recommend this DVD even though the price just went up. It's still a great deal!

I've been into card magic for six years. I have a LOT of books and DVDs on cards, but most of THESE effects are almost entirely new to me. And the ones I thought I new, have been Simonified. He gives a whole lot of unconventional card tips, subtleties, and amazing, simple card magic for the moderate card performer. AWESOME DVD and DEFINITELY worth the money. Side note: if your new to card magic, I suggest getting Complete Course In Card Magic first---also by Magic Makers. This is packed with everything you need to not only get started in card magic, but also has different levels---beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Worth EVERY penny.Thanks Magic Makers...you did it again!

Get this DVD.First of all, it comes in a regular DVD case, not the usual flimsy cardboard sleeve. Second, watch the DVD all the way through. It is over 3 1/2 hours ( 3 hrs 45 min approximately). The variety of effects alone make it worth the time. There is no set pattern ( as to difficulty) and the effects towards the end can lead into the effects from the beginning of the DVD. Then you can pick and choose what you want to do later. Third, many of the effects come straight from the book...... but compared to the couple hundred price tag I've seen for the book, well worth getting this instead..... especially easy on the wallet. Forth, during the explanations.... you're shown 2 angles ( you're view and the spectator view) so you can see how to do it from your end and what it looks like from the spectator view.

This is a great collection of magic tricks - I have other Simon Lovell DVDs and they are good at learning sleight of hand - but this one is all about the tricks. In each trick, he shows the trick with an audience (of 2), then repeats the trick, then shows you how to do it. Explanations are very clear and include multiple camera angles. Simon does an excellent job showing you not only the details of the trick, but explaining the best way to perform it. If you're looking for a nice collection of tricks you can add to your repertoire, this is a good DVD to get.

Amazing tricks for all types of magicians. Each trick shows the performance then tutorial by none other than the Simonator himself. I believe Magic Makers offers this video taught by Chris Nevling as well. You cant go wrong with either. Amazing amount of tricks for a great price! As always, well done Magic Maker's!

I like the magic of Simon Lovel. He's so goofy and off the wall it's hilarious.

Learned the 1st trick in an hour. He shows the trick then gives a step by step how too using regular decks of cards. There will be some time invested learning how to move the cards around in your hands and making it look natural. Fun though. Good for party tricks.
