I’ve had a few of these cheap TPMS over the years. This is the worst one I’ve had.As some other reviewers note, the threads are poorly made and very short, so they don’t always screw on to the valve stems properly. One of mine no longer fits the valve.Then today one spontaneously started under-reading by 15psi.So after just 4 months of ownership, two of my sensors are useless, so the whole lot is heading for the bin. Complete waste of money. Shame as the display is better than some of the others I’ve had.

I agree with most of other reviewers, it is very easy to install, it has an acceptable price, it is better to avoid using locking nut.The battery at the sensors is CR1632, at the attached photo you could see how to replace battery if you discover that some sensors have been disappeared from the TPMS control screen (it is my case, it happened after two months only (!). Press eight time left button at control unit to re-connect sensors with new battery with control unit. Any way, it is a good set, and it does its job.

These tyre pressure monitoring systems are invaluable for vehicles that do not have these systems built in. I have this connected to my van. The installation is a bit of a pain as the sensors do need securing to the tyre valve but it’s not too arduous. Then you just connect each one remotely from the base unit. I went for this design as I can fix it to my dash rather than the window if I want but it fits neatly on the bottom of my window and can even self charge to a degree but not sure it can run off that permanently especially with the weather where I am.Accuracy well it tells me when the pressures are low that’s what it is about, can I say it is spot on … no but I am not interested in being 1-3 psi out as long as I set the warning limit appropriately to allow for a variation then I can take action in time. It is well built and feels like a good piece of kit.

Bought this to monitor our motorhome tyre pressures.Easy to install, I'd advise using anti seize paste on the valve as another review said the sensor had corroded onto the valve stem.Reading seems to be okay compared to my tyre pressure gauge.Pressure & temperature in the tyre obviously increase as it's driven.

This is a good small size for on a dash with a tiny solar charger. However the one I got took 8 hrs to charge up to 3 quarters in a home USB charger so no chance the solar would work. It also only showed 3 tyres. Returned.

This is a clever and well made piece of kit. Sits unobtrusively in the top right of my car windscreen, and gives me instant info’ on my tyres. The product is excellent BUT the customer service is outstanding. My monitor developed a fault in the rear nearside sender after about six months. Not a problem these things happen. I contacted AutoHY Inc and asked if I could purchase a new sender unit. After a couple of email messages between us trying to rectify the problem they send me a complete new unit absolutely free of charge and postage free too. Superb customer service. Thank you so much.Since my previous review a couple of issues have come to light. I can’t fault the actual unit. It is a clever piece of kit and works well. The BUT is that the sender unit attached to the tyre valve can cause the tyre to loose pressure. This happened on one tyre of mine. The biggest problem is that the sender unit on the tyre valve had corroded on two of my wheels and the only way I could get them off was to take the car to a tyre shop to have new valves fitted. The sender units were no longer usable. My guess is that there is an electrolytic reaction between brass and steel in between the tyre valve and the sender unit. Very disappointing as I can no longer use the pressure monitor, especially as when it was operations it was an excellent addition to my car.

Went to fit the sensors and came to the last one and it wouldn’t screw on at all, I took a look and the sensor had on obviously been tried on someone’s vehicle before as I noticed the thread inside the sensor was cross threaded. I wasn’t going to force it onto my valve as I would have cross threaded that also and then needed a replacement valve costing more money.Maybe it was a one off but I’d be very dubious about buying another one.Sent it back and asked for a full refund. Total waste of my time.

Nog steeds werkt het apparaatje goed. Soms eens een storing, valt best mee. Nuttig apparaatje.

Perfecto sistema si lo que quieres es saber el estado de presión de tus neumáticos.Instalación fácil y rápida.Gracias a que es solar siempre tengo los datos en tiempo real y activados.La pantalla se lee facilmente y cuando le da el sol tambiés se ve bastante nítido los datos.Trae una pequeña llave para ajustar los tapones y que no se aflojen.
