The inner circle contain the alchemical symbols for Sulphur, water, air, and salt, the representing the 4 elements and the foundation of life. Used in meditations and ritual practices, black candles are used to absorb negative energy and help banish evil. Soy candles burn cleaner and longer than paraffin candles. Unlike paraffin wax, a gasoline by-product, soy wax is a natural product derived from soybeans and is non toxic.
