The item has received on time. The book is a great material. I needed to return because of the item is the one, which I had similar one I had purchased previously.

I had I diagnosis book my program required me to buy, but I MUCH prefer this one! It has medical diagnoses in the front and possible nursing diagnoses that relate to it. Definitely helped me alot!

I just purchased this and I am so glad that I did. I have purchased a few books that also have access to the Evolve Site for more content review and practice questions. This makes writing care plans much easier. It is simple and easy to use. I used the older version last semester but rented it. I needed this again and decided to purchase it because I know I will need it throughout nursing school and probably beyond. Updated information is wonderful, must have for every nursing student.

This book is an excellent tool to utilize when working on care plans. In the front of the book it list all of the medical diagnosis and medical problems a patient may have, with the possible NANDA approved nursing diagnosis. The book list the define characterstics of each nursing diagnosis as well as the "related to". The nursing interventions listed are evidenced based, with the references to research listed. The student nurse is still required to question what nursing diagnosis, intervention and goals apply to a given patient. Execellent tool to learn how to clinically reason, critically think. Excellent for doing concept maps and care plans.

This book has been so useful with all my nursing papers and care plans. The biggest flaw with this purchase is it did not come with the access code for Evolve online. The nursing program I am in uses all of the Elsevier products through evolve and I was looking forward to another online resource. I was quite disappointed when I did not get the access code. Otherwise, for those who do not use or do not care about the access codes I highly recommend this book. No more researching for nursing diagnosis with the EBP rationales; it's all in this book.

I cannot count the amount of times I used this book in nursing school. My program constantly required me to write nursing diagnoses and interventions. As a brand new student, I had no idea what that even meant or where to start. This book saved me and my assignments so many times. It was recommended to me by one of my clinical instructors and I am SO happy I bought it. If you have to write care plans, I promise this book is worth the buy!

I love this book. I bought it for nursing school and used it many times for writing care plans. Super easy to use. All the diagnoses are right on the first page when you open the book. It gives you a page number and on each page it has defining characteristics, interventions, and more! Also the first few pages has a list of patient conditions/problems and then potential diagnoses for those problems. I will use this book forever.

A nursing students bible... you will ace every care plan you need to complete for school. One book I use every semester
