SonosMove Wireless Speaker, White

OK.... so the lesson here is simple. You can buy a cheap speaker and it will sound OK. It will break or stop working within a few weeks.... but hey....for the cost of this Sonos you could buy 50. However..... if you want the best outdoor speaker on the market.... one that works especially well with Apple.... but also very well with Android, then the SONOS Move is it. The whole Sonos eco system will eventually bankrupt you.. but it works, sound is phenomenal and they are made beautifully. Recommend the white ones.... but that is taste. As you get older you realise that buying cheap anythibgbis a very false economy and always comes back to bite you. If you can afford it, and I know sadly not everyone can, recommend this and the rest of the Sonos products without qualification. Fabulous.

Much better sound quality than expected, easy to set up (even though the instructions guide does not help much), versatile (you can use it with WiFi at home or with Bluetooth outside in the garden although it is somehwat heavy and it is not thought to walk with it anywhere), it has Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant built-in, battery life is fantastic, design is great. It is a bit expensive, so wait for a Black Friday offer (or similar).

This is exactly what we've been looking for. A decent portable, weatherproof speaker that connects to our current music services. Due to the larger size the sound is even better than the SONOS Play 1. Love the bluetooth function which means you can connect to the speaker when there's no wifi signal but the wifi extender tech means you can be quite a lot further from your router than most other devices and still access your music services. Great for the garden!!

Absolutely awesome portable speaker - I’ve bought various Sonos products for the last 10 years and they leave Bose and all the others in their dust! Superior sound engineering and simple yet beautiful design!

Exceptional sound and easy to set up. It also works well with alexa. A little bit heavy and was a bit tricky to set up with Alexa. Battery life could be longer.

I like a lot. I take it on boats, camping and at home. Loud and clear sound. It has some weight to it but not too much.

Wow! That’s all I can say. A super product, excellent sound quality, get portability and just an all round minimalistic and great product.

Added to the existing Sonos set up we have with Sonos 1 and 3's. Great sound and the portability is very useful, moving it to garage, garden etc. Recommended.

This is the second pair of these I’ve bought, the first were black but these white ones look so much better,The sound is excellent especially when playing the two in stereo however, stereo only available when streaming via internet, not when using Bluetooth. Although classed as portable due to being powered by battery they are really rugged bookshelf speakers without the cables.These Move 1s have been superseded by Move 2s which are meant to be even better however, at nearly £400 a pair below the laters cost these are well worth buying.

I've only been buying Sonos products for about a year. I started off with a 5 and a pair of Sonos 1's. Both products have been super impressive. However, i wasn't quite prepared for just how good this Sonos Move is. I come from a music background (DJ/producer of 20+ years) so audio quality is something very very important to me and i'm super fussy. I've been using this in my garden for over a month now and it just fills my garden with wonderful sound, deep warm bass and clear mid-range and nice clean highs. Sit it on the ground in front of a wall, or in a corner and it will blow you away. A friend remarked that it was 'like having a club in your back garden'. Because the sound is so rich and full, you don't even need to have it up that loud, so it's perfect if like me you have neighbours close by.Everything I'd come to expect from a Sonos speaker is in the Move. It's genuinely brilliant. I've never heard sound as good as this in a portable speaker before. Yes it is on the expensive side, but i have to say it's been worth every penny so far.Pros:Sound quality (up there with Sonos 5).Portability - dead easy to move around, the handle is great. It's good and heavy though.Battery - 10 hours, recharges really quickly - the charging dock is super convenientBluetooth - option to switch it over to Bluetooth if wifi an issueIntegration with the rest of Sonos system is perfect - multi-room audioWifi extender - can stream from Wifi a good distance from houseCons:There is only thing i can put here and it's not even to do with the speaker. The speaker can stream your audio up to 50m away from router (according to tests i've seen). However, your phone needs to be able to access the same router from 50m away if you want to access the Sonos app, as it needs wifi. This is more a limitation of the phone than Sonos. What i do is start my playlist in house and then take the speaker outside, it does some kind of buffering which means you can take it further away from you house and it never drops.

Sooooo gooood! So happy with this buy.Changed a bit from my previous big jambox by jawbone, as this one isn’t stereo , but the sound quality is really astonishing.It’s powerful. It’s so easy to use, I’m enjoying the smart aspect of it with Google and Spotify, both connected “ok Google play playlist A”. It’s really the best, ans it look so good.Only minus is it’s weight, it’s pretty heavy and I don’t move with it , but I also don’t need to move it, and it’s always charged thanks to its base.100% recommended

A heavy but still portable speaker. As per all Sonos equipment very well constructed and quality materials were used. Very easy to set up using The Sonos App and just as easy using it via Bluetooth. Even better value now that the price has been reduced. Perhaps the next generation 'Move' has a longer battery life from one charge and the promise of better sound although I am happy with the quality of The 'Move 1'. As per all Sonos products which are backed up by excellent on line service.
