I've been coloring my hair (based on my whims) since I was 15, and I've had a few hair dressers give up because my hair is baby fine, very porous, grabs too much color in some areas and slides off almost immediately and always ends up too red or green or something. So I've mostly done my own hair coloring so I have only myself to blame. I'm 70 now, and due to a catastrophic illness, my hair went silver within the space of a year. It's a gorgeous silver, the kind younger girls are paying big bucks to achieve, but when a senior lady (who happens to be in excellent shape now) has grey hair, that's all other people see and immediately think old, decrepit lady. I know; I'm not supposed to care about others' opinions, especially strangers, but this is where I am in my life right now.....So after much deliberation and a ton of research about toxic vs healthy ingredients, I decided to try this one. I did a little test strip and thought I could live with that, but the full hair color turned out a hundred times better! It's a rich color with lots of variations giving it a natural look. It was a tad darker than I'd wanted, so the first time I shampooed, I used a charcoal detox shampoo, and it washed out just enough color. Now I'm using purple shampoo and conditioner to keep the reds out. It's only been about a week, so I cannot speak to how it will continue to wear, but I'm ordering the next lighter N shade to try next, as I'm sure the gleaming silver roots will shine when this one grows off a quarter inch or so, and lighter looks better on me, anyway. I'm naturally light brunette. Thanks for letting me play with my hair color again without worrying about the chemicals involved. I left it on for the time recommended and used my heat cap instead of a hair dryer. The heat makes all the difference. It was a nice experience, no stinging or strong odors, not messy. My hair is quite short, and it was enough color to cover adequately, but if you have longer hair, I would recommend buying an extra one.

I am EXTREMELY allergic to hair color. It would get so bad that my scalp would itch like crazy and blister... so, I thought I would give the natural hair color a shot. Love it! Didn't have any allergic reaction whatsoever. Takes a little more time than the drugstore brands but the results are beautiful.

I read most of the reviews so I was prepared to follow the directions with precision. Nonetheless, although the color initially looked great, and seemed to cover my grey beautifully, after the second washing, the color was already washing out. Definitely would not buy again. Will have to keep looking. (Also, after coloring and conditioning with the included minute amount of conditioner provided with the product, my wet hair felt dry and not even close to soft and silky.) Pass and save your money.

I used Light Ash Blonde 10C and followed the directions exactly only adding the extra time for thick hair. The first photo is how my hair looked just before I washed it and colored. The second photo is how it looked after I colored-quite orangey-red and no root coverage. The third photo is after 20 min with blue shampoo-trying to get the orangey-red out. this worked somewhat. I used root cover to attend a function that evening and later tried a LO'real product that stung my scalp so much I will never use it again. No matter the cost, it did not do the job-bottom line: Would not recommend.

This color is an absolute god send! I am a professional colorist and I’ve tried many natural colors that claim to cover grey and they don’t, this line does and gave me the results I was looking for not opaque and very shiny. Also the color smells great doesn’t itch and comes off the skin very easily with soap and water! Be sure to apply heat to open the cuticle otherwise the color will not take

A lot of hair dyes including those used in salons make my scalp itch and some with ammonia trigger an allergic reaction. This one didn't make my scalp itch at all and there was very little hair loss after. The coverage is good. Overall I am very satisfied and happy to have found it.

I have tried so many organic hair color claiming to be healthy. ONC hair color is the best so far...Nice aroma...Doesn’t have awkward smell.My scalp did not itch at all and left my hair in great condition. I really like how everything you need is in the package. The coloring product smells good and doesn’t burn my scalp when it’s processing. The color turned out perfect. I ended up using more conditioner afterwards though because my hair felt like it needed it.

I had read such good reviews about this product that I decided to purchase it. It was easy to apply, even though it did seem to take a very long time to wash the colourant out of my hair. It left my hair feeling soft and shiny, although no more than a lot of other hair colourants.What is very annoying, is that the colour has faded very quickly, and more so than any other colourants that I have used. This has had the effect of a semi-permanent on my hair I use a good quality colour care shampoo and conditioner too.It is not worth the money, and I shall not be purchasing it again.

Having ready the reviews and contacted the company it is with great pleasure to write a 5 star review on the most amazing hair product i have ever used. Having coloured my hair for 30 plus years at home and suffered so much damage i came across ONC Natural Organic Colours. Was delivered today and wow just done my hair, soft and shiny are a understatement trust me, never ever have i had that with any other colour. Whilst product colour is great and hair felt good afterwards, it took me a while to apply. Too long tbh. Plus it didn’t cover some of the greys and washed off quite quickly (in 3 weeks)... given that the application was tedious I felt quite disappointed. It’s not cheap either (on the long run) so I won’t be using again.

During lockdown I looked high and low for an alternative to my salon colour. I was very worried as I don't like to do my own hair - especially as I have had some disasters in the past. Salons shut - needs must. I choose this colour for 2 reasons. First it's natural ingredients and secondly the ease of use. I choose the nearest colour from the chart and it arrived quickly. I followed the instructions very carefully and applied the heat as I am a complete novice. The end result was so much better than I expected. Would highly recommend!

What a shame I never had a chance to use this product because it's just what my hair needs, but I never got around to it because most of the contents of the box, especially the gloves in the plastic cup and the box was in terrible condition. The seal on the box lid which was used to keep the contents in had been removed and the condition of this parcel wouldn't have been good enough to be sold on a flee market second hand let alone brand-new for this price.
