Sea turtle cut from steel using hand held plasma cutter. Polished metal surface reflects light thru the blue transparent paint creating depth and movement. The edges of the shell and flippers have been colored by blow torch revealing organic blues, purples and gold. The shell is solid copper inlay. Dripped bronze was used the create the eyes. The entire piece has been seal with automotive grade clear coat. It has welded "stand-offs" which give a little wall separation for added depth and allow for wire hanger. This original art piece measures 21" x 21"x 1". Signed by artist and dated.
