Description says, ‘Glass cheese/cake dome with slate serving board’Nothing of the sort at all, okay the dome part is correct, but it’s not glass it’s more a plastic/Perspex and it didn’t come with the slate serving board.Would be nice if you could contact the seller direct, rather than having to leave a review and also receive the product as described!Clearly false advertisement!!Also, left the parcel with my neighbour jack apparently, don’t even have a neighbour called jack. My husband got home to See it sat quite clearly on the doorstep for anyone to take.Will be returning!

The top slate tier of the stand didn't fit inside the metal bracket. The lower tier sat nicely inside the bracket. It was loose enough to cause me concern that whilst carrying the stand it could slide off/out. So I sent this back (can't comment on the return process as its on going) As we really wanted this stand we ordered a second one. Assuming it was just bad luck that the first one was poor quality. We were wrong, first thing i did when the second one turned up was the test the top tier and exactly the same thing. Lower tier sits nicely (and safely) within the metal bracket yet the top tier does not. Absolutely terrible quality control. Will not be ordering a third one! So once again we are having to go through the whole returns procedure. Avoid.

It’s way too small and the quality is not that great. Sorry but not value for money. Overpriced for the quality.

The concept and design are great but pricey. I ordered two of these, put them together and found both of these were wonky so the slates did not sit straight. I contacted thd seller immediately to resolve but got no response. I suggested the seller could just send me replacement duhsvs ahich is where the fault was - the screw holes are not drilled correctly. Now I will just have to ask for a refund as the event I need these for is in less than a week

I was just on the verge of returning this item because, like all the other reviewers, I could not see a base in the box. Thankfully one person did mention that there was a base but it was well hidden. There is a box within the box and the base is under this box in its own styrofoam layer. If you open box from other end you will see white styrofoam and be able to remove easily. Can't believe this hasn't been addressed by supplier with a sticker or something on the box as so many have been returned for this reason. The item itself is lovely, a bit expensive for what it is but then I did buy it for its aesthetic appeal. I'm planning on keeping mini cacti and succulents in my and it will make a lovely display.
