Its just like any other Japanese cotton they selling on Amazon your just paying for the name. I have had not taste issues while vaping with it or any of the others that I will list they all work but this one is a bit overpriced in my opinion compared to the quantities you are able to get.All the below products are sold on Amazon and I have read all the negative review(s) if they had any on the product but maybe I got lucky on the quality control product patch but none of these products out performed each other. Great for rebuilding! These pads are so thick that I can split it into 4 individual pads then cut those into 6 or 8 strips each for re-wicking. I buy a few bags every few months and I NEVER run out. OH! And I re-wick every other day.

I ordered 2 of the 50 packs and my order came as 10 baggies of 10 pads. The cotton looked thin, but is just compacted. With some fluffing it is actually very thick, absorbs quickly, and does not add any funky flavor. Better quality than my brick and mortar sells in my opinion, and at a fraction of the cost. I've tried just about every over-hyped brand name in the vaping industry and this is on par if not better than everything I have used.

Product is okay but I have switched back to cotton bacon. I'll be using this in between when I'm out. Supplier was excellent with quick delivery and a good price though.
