Better than expected.
I got this to "camp" out at my boyfriends' mother's house, while we dog sat for her for a week. The only "larger than a twin bed" in the house was his mom's so i figured why not give this a try. I was really scared, given some of the neg. reviews, not only on this product but on these types of beds in general.I rec'd the bed about 1 week before the planned trip, so for that week, i left the mattress out and inflated it on my way to work, and deflated it afterwards (the instructions say to do this to help the material stretch or something). The bed goes up with ease, takes only a few minutes really. Tho it is VERY heavy, and i had to find my own bag to put it in to carry (the small bag they provide for transport i would/could never get the bed folded back down to that size again). Once up, its a good distance off the floor, I would suggest a few blankets between you and the air mattress as it does tend to bed cool to the touch. We were both very comfortable in the bed...sleep without problems, did not wake up stiff, or feeling like i slept on an air mattress. There was way more room than we needed on this king size bed, maybe could have gone with the queen but folks complained the queen wasn't large enough. We were able to fit 2 adults and 2 dogs on this bad boy without anyone feeling like they didn't have bed real estate to move around. The hard part with this bed...is getting it deflated and folded back into a carrying bag. It takes me a little more time to do this, than actually get the bed set up.I would be okay with anyone visiting me using this bed for a night or longer. I would really suggest before you let anyone sleep on it to do a few days of inflating and deflating as the manufacture suggests.Update Dec 2014I only had use of this products 3 times before it failed me.....we took it camping late Sept...slow air leak the first night, the second night same issue, on the third night i woke up with the bed completely without air....we found a hole on a seam in the middle of the bed on top...no idea how it got there and it was in a spot that there was no hope of repairing it. :( Uncertain how it would have done if we had used it more often....i got a total of maybe 6 nights sleeps on this bed before it died. I'm uncertain i'd waste my money on this companies product again :(

It's ok, but, that's about it.
My husband was having back trouble and thought that he would try an air bed before going to a Sleep Number bed, which is what I have because of severe back injuries a while back. This air mattress is TALL, it aired up easily enough, was comfortable, except, as other have stated, it seems to lose air and needed frequent/daily re-filling. The only other problem was that it seemed to "stretch" and become wider and wider over time.I intend to keep the product because it will be VERY handy if we have out-of-town company. But, anyone who thinks (as my husband did) that this would actually replace his regular mattress will be disappointed, unless, maybe one were to build a frame of some sort to contain it. I, however, convinced my husband that he needed to either go back to a conventional mattress or cough up the bucks for a Sleep Number mattress for long-term/nightly use.

The biggest air bed I could find.
First the air pump is not attached to the bed so you have find a place to store it when not in use. It does take a couple more steps to add air than beds with the pump attached. Also this bed appears to need air more often than the other two air beds I have. This bed makes grunting sounds after you exit, they all do, but this one keeps making sounds for 20 minutes or so, not a lot of them but it takes a while for it to fully adjust to empty status. The bed has a ridge about a foot wide all the way round the top so the center of the bed is a little recessed, my other beds are totally flat. But it is big, the right height and I sleep just fine but I wish it had the attached pump, less noise and flat surface of my other air beds.

Very comfy
We chose this bed because of it's size, weight capacity and height. My husband and I are very large people, so most of the air beds we could not use because we exceeded the weight capacity. The king size is true to our regular king size. very roomy. And the height of 22" was good too. Although I still had a bit of a hard time getting out of the bed because the sides are not firm like a regular bed. But this is not a regular bed, it IS an airbed. The bed inflated FAST and was pretty simple to deflate. The material seems thick and sturdy. We used it camping and had our sleeping bag on it the whole time, but the dog slept on it too and her sharp nails didn't pop it. Of course she mostly was on top of the sleeping bag.I like the extra inflatable ring around the whole edge of the bed, I was afraid I might roll off, but this kept that from happening. When my husband got on the bed at camp,he said he was never this comfortable at camp before. I agree. We even slept late because we didn;t have to get our of bed because our bodies hurt.Cant wait to go camping again. when this one wears out, we will for sure get another one just like it.

piece of crap
i bought this item as a main sleeping bed. i used to sleep on an intex queen for more than a year before and it served flawlessly. but this EXPENSIVE one ($160!!) began to leak air in just two months! i never used any sharp items close to it, never exposed it to sun or water, never overfilled it, never overloaded it (I sleep alone), it was lying on a fluffy carpet and it wasn't even touching the walls - i mean NOTHING could damage it! and i cant even find the hole to patch it. it looks brand new - but simply looses air in like 5 hrs of sleep and i find myself on the floor with back pain. totally disappointed! want to send it backupdate: the seller sent me a replacement bed for which I am very grateful. but guess what? =) IT LEAKS AIR!!!! and it started leaking withing just couple of days! before inflating it the 1st time I inspected the carpet for anything that could damage the previous one - nothing. and i was even more careful with this one. it just seems like these items are defective inside-out - the quality of seams or glue or valve or whatever is loosing air.dumping to trash. $160 wasted...
