Give Me A God I Can Relate To Paperback – September 17, 2015

Beautiful poetry. I first heard Blythe's poetry over a year ago and it resonated with me, and I've closely paid attention to see what she's going to do next. I've wanted to buy this for a while and finally got it, finishing it within 30 minutes after it arrived. After searching through all the poetry on her blog multiple times I had read some of it before, but some fabulous ones I hadn't seen.I really recommend buying this book if you're a woman, ED sufferer(recovered or not), gay, or a victim of sexual assault. BUT even if you are none of these things this will not stop Blythe's powerful poetry from having an impact on you. Great poet and person, I can't wait to see what she does next.

This book is a great read! It has some heavier poems and topics, but it is definitely worth a read. As a young adult, this set of poems is very relatable. This book also gives you a sense of community between young women and some of the universal experiences that come with being female in today's society.

Blythe has amazing delivery skills and her poetry is hard hitting as well as inspiring. I got the last used copy (oops) but I hear she's releasing a new version with a new publisher. This poet is up and coming and you want to read her stuff sooner rather than later.

This is a necessary book of poetry for all women, honestly starting in middle school. Blythe creates a space where women can feel safe. She writes openly about so many issues that feel isolating when you're in the midst of it, but she lets you know that other girls experience the same thing. A must buy.

one of my favorit poets. also the design is perfect and I can only recommend it to anyone interested in modern poetry, feminism and struggles of recovery.it's like a mirror for the problems in our society.
