Both my and my wife go snow boarding 3-4 times a year and have so far used Arctix Snowpants so far which we purchased about 3 years go - and they have been are our golden standards when it comes to budget snowpants as they've held up so well and also were reasonably priced as well (we looked at a lot of snowpants in physical stores before purchasing them) .. Hence for this review we are going to compare how this Snow bib compares to ArctixCONSTRUCTION/INSULATION/QUALITY- Overall this snow bib is very well made with good, uniform stitching thoughout- The zippers are large tooth ones with pull tabs which are very easy to use - even in thick ski gloves and do not catch any fabric while using them- The insulation filling in the legs is less than the amount of insulation we have in the Arctix snowpants .. in fact this whole bib which has more material/surface area than our Arctix snowpants .. yet this Amazon Essentials snow bib feel lighter than the Arctix snowpants due to less insulation filling- The outer shell is water resistant and repels water very well , even if you pour a whole glass on it - it will just bead and slide off effortlessly with minimal retention on the material- The shoulder straps are adjustable and thick which make them very comfortable- The feet has boot zippers, anti-slip sleeves and hooks- The boot area does have some additional reinforcement to prevent wearing but frankly it does not feel as substantial/heavy duty when compared to our Arctix snowpants- Inner lining is made of fleece and feels soft and warm- Zippered pockets are deep enough to fit a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+- Made in ChinaSIZING / FITMy wife is is 5' 7" , weighs about 145 lbs and usually wears Medium size and this Amazon Essentials 'M' size fit her perfectly- It not feel bloated at all , giving a more slim and sleek look which my wife loves more than Arctix- Does not stretch or tug anywhere even when you squat ... so there should not be worries about it ripping even if you take an awkward tumbleFINAL THOUGHTSOverall this is a good value for money snow bib which has a better fit, is more comfortable but offers a bit less insulation than Arctix which is a comparable brand. This should definitely be in your consideration list if you want a budget option if you hit the slopes occasionally .

I ordered and xl. They fit great, very warm and comfortable, but I am only 5’4 and these are very short on me.

I was hoping these would surprise me, as Amazon essentials is usually pretty good quality. Sadly, they did not. Given the price, I can’t be too disappointed, but overall I was not impressed. They would be going back if I hadn’t missed the return window.Waterproofing is pretty good, but they are not warm, so layer up. Also, the quality is what you would expect for cheap snow bibs. One of the strap seams is already ripping after one wear.Also, they are SHORT! I’m 5’6, size 8, 150lbs. I got a medium and they are snug with layers and only reach my ankles. And the elastic at the bottom is pretty loose, so snow gets up there easily.Overall, it’s about what I expected for the price point. Ok for a day here and there of easy snow play, but otherwise, don’t waste your money. Unless you really just want something cheap to use a few times, I can’t say I’d recommend these.

Wow. Impressed by the fit and quality of this bib. I’ve worn it a few times to shovel / doing chores.. and I’ve been v warm with it in 20 degree weather. Great selection of color as well

I love these just found them to be not that warm. To be fair I was skiing in 5 degree weather but had two pairs of pants under these and was still cold. Overall I like them though

These pants ripped after two days of use. Not even skiing. Just wearing them. Went to Jackson hole over the weekend and ripped on the pant leg and back. The fit was really nice and the straps were comfortable on. It’s a shame the material just didn’t hold up well.

I ordered a Medium & when I put it in I noticed it fit very small throughout the legs & mid section. I looked on the inner tag & it was labeled a Small but attached tags were Small. Nice pants but had to return due to the mislabeling

These fit great. It hasn’t snowed here yet, so I can’t say anything about waterproof. The fit is perfect for a medium and a comfortable design. Yes, I would buy them again.

The pants are amazing. They fit me perfectly. I am 166 cm tall and weigh 48 kg. The pants are not short and not too long. Perfect for me. Very comfortable and waterproof. The colour like on the picture. Highly recommend.

Really like how I can adjust straps to make body longer because I have a long body.
