Good lamp but it doesn't charge while lamp open at the same time

Good product is not big which for me is good and is for a desk.

This lamp is exactly what I'm looking for. Nowhere in the info does say its not self or battery powered. I thought it was battery powered. Left it plugged it in for 24 hours to charge the battery to no avail. I can live with plugging it in but why not put a battery in it?

I had been on the lookout for a table lamp with a 10W wireless charger for many months. None of the established brands had a product that suited my needs and so, I turned to Amazon only to find a plethora of third-party options with varying features. Although it was a risky bet, I took a chance and bought this lamp two weeks ago, and it has been a great find so far! The lamp has got three touch controls: reading mode, on/off, and brightness selector. The neck of the lamp is flexible enough to be moved around and repositioned in a variety of ways.You get three types of lights: yellow, white and mix, with 5 levels of brightness for each. The lamp can be powered with USB -C plugged in on a power adapter or your laptop.My favourite part of all: The base is textured and houses a 10W wireless charger which works, well, most of the time.A great find for the price.

I start my review when I start to open the packaging, is the packaging overdone or insufficient. I was impressed with the packaging for this item it was strong protective and sufficient. On opening the box I was delighted to find a quality item that is not only functional but also pleasing to the eye. I purchased a white one . The bright light is impressive and it can be dimmed and adjusted in several ways to give you just the light to suit you. The controls are touch controls and conveniently placed at the front of the unit. All in all a beautifully made attractive item. Charging the phone was simplicity in itself but you must have a Q type changing phone. I would suggest that the inclusion of a standard charging point as a way of enabling 90% of phones to be charged would be a useful addition but as it stands I would heartily recommend this unit to anyone requiring a desk lamp irrespective of whether their phone is a Q or not.

Nice light and gives off a good brightness. However, I was expecting this light to be cordless and be able to light up after it being charged and not have to plug it in, however, you do have to plug this in and isn't completely portable as such as you will need to be near either a plug socket or a USB socket to use this light. Other than that, it's not a bad light.
