I have only sprayed one car so far but I was very happy with the results. Much better than the cheap guns at HF and even better than the black widow I had from them. At less than half The price too. This thing layed down base and clear super smooth. No need to cut and buff on a jeep. If I was doing a show car I’d cut and buff it no matter what so the gun wouldn’t matter. I think this will hold up since it’s super Easy to clean and will report back if it does start acting up.

I'm new to automotive painting, self taught trial and error. first gun kit was a DeVilbiss dual gun starter kit, used it on few jobs with base and clear. Working on my classic car project and wanted a nice finish with less orange peel. Looking around at DeVilbiss guns and reviews but didn't want to spend that kinda money as a hobbist. I've read things about GTI pro knock offs, This one had good reviews. So I purchased this one with the hopes it would spray good clear coats.Panels prepped and ready for clear, first spay from this gun was amazing! Wide fan almost 12", lots of air pressure for atomizing at the head from the nicely designed at cap. The gun makes you feel like a better painter. Doors turned out great! Looked like glass! I'm going to be purchasing another for base coating.

Sprayers better than some old Iwata guns I have. I’ve used it for base coat.

It's basically a third shift clone of a devidiss GTI pro light and in all respects it's pretty much the same quality as well which is good I haven't really painted with it yet but it's very high quality definitely the best cheaper option out there and it mops the floor with anything harbor freight has including the black widow which is also a clone of a sata

Best gun for the money so far. I started with the $15 harbor freight hvlp. Used that gun to learn my craft for a year. In that year I purchased the gun 5 times. By the 3rd or 4th cleaning. The gun would leak. Looked for an upgrade and purchased this. From primer to clear the gun performed flawlessly. Easy to clean easy to set up always works. The pictures in this review were jobs I competed in my home garage on my personal vehicles.Update. 2yrs later still going strong I love this gun. Keep it clean it will last. Added 3m pps disposable cup kit with s15 adapter. Clean up is a breeze.

Bought this gun to finish furniture with waterborne Poly. I've used it multiple times and have been satisfied with the results. The material cup is some sort of plastic, but is is strong and the cap seals good. Adjustments are precise and predictable. Easy to clean. An added plus is the wrench to remove the spray tip. It is forged steel (not the cheap stamped, sharp edge, multiuse "wrench" that comes with other sprayers). Overall, an ex cxcellent product.

Shoots clear coat like magic with the correct settings,the clear coat kit I used was a bargin brand,will definitely recommend

I've been painting cars for over 18 years. I have an authentic devilbiss version of this gun that I use on a daily basis for clearcoat in a ford dealer body shop. This gun is about 80 percent the same as the real thing. The biggest difference is the gasket material for the distribution ring and the material of the ring itself. I've used this on quite a few jobs and it sprays pretty close to the real thing. It sprays sealer good. Metallics look nice. The clearcoat lays down nice but with a little more orange peel than an expensive gun, but not too bad. I'd say this is a good gun for someone that wants a good finish but doesnt want to spend a lot on a gun.The only issues I could forsee would be how long the seals/gaskets would last with daily use. It comes covered in oil so be sure to thoroughly clean it before use.
