Women's Fss01c Dance Shoe

I have recently started a Silver Swans class, after a break from ballet of about 40 years.As a child I wore Freed shoes, and I thought these would be similar. What I didn't take into account was that I haven't done ballet for 40 years, I have various old injuries, and these are not the shoes of my childhood.These shoes look fantastic. However, due to various issues I have put them to one side for the time being.Most adult shoes today have split soles. These caused me 2 issues (which may be related):- flat shoes do nothing to support my plantar fasciitis. While I knew this already, it hadn't occurred to me that a split sole would actually take me into negative territory.- the split sole felt wobbly under my foot, and I struggled to balance.A third problem was the fit of the heel. I sometimes need to wear men's shoes because the heel cup on women's shoes is too shallow and I get the feeling that the shoes are falling off. I had the same feeling with these shoes. I checked repeatedly during class, and they still looked to be firmly attached, but the sensation was still there.My feeling is that I'm not ready for these shoes, so I'm putting them aside until I've improved a little. At the moment, ballet is hard enough without having to fight my shoes.

Love this ballet shoe! Fits the foot like a sock and the split sole gives a beautiful arch for your feet when dancing. I wish I had found this brand earlier. Five star quality.

They are actually better than pink leather ballet shoes ! I went in and tried them on and realised that I preferred the canvas to the leather even though they are more expensive !! The size is true !!

Would've preferred leather and draw round foot (feet)....

So signed up to adult balllet classses and needed to buy some ballet shoes and these are perfect
