Great for snow builds - but there is a newer version
I’ve bought several of these baseplates over time, to supplement my Lego Star Wars collection for recreating the Battle of Hoth. For non-Star Wars fans, it’s essentially a big fight in the snow. Hopefully that’s not too patronising. There’s not too much to say about these, they’re just the standard 32x32 stud white base plate. It’s worth noting however that this is the old version of the Lego baseplate which has now been officially retired and replaced with 11026. The only difference? The newer version (11026) comes in paper packaging as opposed to the plastic that these baseplates come in. If you’re buying this older set at a discounted rate rest assured that they are identical to the newer version in terms of colour and size, but also know that somewhere in the world Greta is judging you.At the current price of £7.99 they’re more expensive per stud then smaller baseplates you can buy individually so lose a star for value. But I guess you pay for quality and in my experience these last longer then the cheaper ‘not Lego but not technically trademark infringing’ construction products out there. If you need a 32x32 white baseplate this would be a suitable purchase.

It’s a square Lego baseplate
I liked the squareness, the whiteness and the Legoness. How much more square and white could it be?The answer is none, none more square and white.

Not bad
Excellent size and price would have been worth it if the plate had been a bit more sturdy. My son used it to stick his Lego men on as keeps losing them, but as soon as he picked the Lego plate up it kept bending with the weight and throwing the men off. He ended up using it for a Lego aeroplane he had and made sure it was in the centre. However, it's showed that it's too flimsy for lots of small Lego figures/models dotted about.

The best - avoid replicas
I tried to save money by buying replica base plates but the Lego just doesn’t affix as firmly and was always falling off. This is the real deal, scored down 1 star because for a piece of plastic, it feels overpriced. However, after buying cheap replicas I can only recommend the official product!

Not great
Really not made like it was when I was kid and the fact you have to get everything separately, when we got a three set box huge plates and lego when I was a child annoying, this plate is pricey and not sturdy thin, dimples low so doesnt hold lego, well if not on flat surface lego falls off as it bends not impressed my three year old is trying to build with lego and things fall off.
