This is the way it is!
There are things I have known for years about our reality that I was not able to put into words. These thoughts I suspected were actually how everything is connected. An action in one place will cause another action in another place. I was able to understand this in my own mind. I had wished that I could take what I know and how I knew it and place it in other people's minds. Once they understood what I understood, words would not be necessary. Of course this was not possible. As I read "The Choice" I smiled, nodded my head in approval realizing this is exactly what I had understood and "knew". After I had completed reading, I also realized that I was not nearly the only person that felt this way. In my opinion, this book is dead on. There will be enlightenment for all people. Make sure you are open and receptive to it. This type of understanding is tantamount to contentment and peace within each person in the coming years. This IS the way it is!

Excellent, got you immediatey and kept you there.
As I said, the book itself, was excellent. I learned more about physics than I thoughtI would be able to understand. However, I understood it all. It's clear and concise. We were not a big bang and just got here. We have a higher power and this books takes the nay -sayers, orjust the doubters, or even the athiests and tells them....hey! I was you and I tried so hard to discredit Godand all things being connected, but I could not. The harder I tried to make it false, it just became overwhelminglyobvious that God does in fact Exist. Don't worry though- cuz if you are to scared to read it for fear its another book trying to convince you of God. It's not. You don't have to listen or believe. Why then, are you not buying it?Scared? (don't discredit me because I spelled some words incorrectly- how often do you use spell check?

Make The Choice
When dealing with the subject of 2012, one can find themselves lost in the numerous stacks of supposed information. For a few years I had been listening to two paranormal podcast shows and both of these frequently dealt with people who 'knew' something about 2012 or 'felt' that an event was coming. More often than not I will find myself questioning the actual existence of an event like this happening rather than believing that the 2012 hypothesis is set in stone. Then again, what is the hypothesis of this 2012 event? There is no one hypothesis and that is exactly my point. We are all in search of an answer. Some bit of information that will satisfy our taste. None of us on this Earth may actually know, and a event may never happen, but there is still this strong feeling inside that wants me to search and because of that, I made the choice to read this book.Mike Bara does a great job as an author who deals with multiple subjects that may have an effect on 2012. One project that he brings up early on in the book is The Princeton Global Consciousness Project led by Dr. Roger Nelson of Princeton University's Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research lab. Without going into too much detail, these were basically experiments that used Random Event Generators, or REGs, to measure the effects on random number generation when human thought was specifically focused on certain events such as the World Cup of soccer and the death of Princess Diana. Much of the research showed that there was a measurable effect on the REGs when these events were studied. What I found most intriguing though about the REGs is that a huge jump appeared in the data when the September 11th attacks occurred. Many of you will agree with me that this attack effected not only Americans, but most of the world. For me, these experiments alone are enough to prove that we as people are more connected consciously than was previously thought. Hopefully these REGs will be able to prove or disprove if our consciousness will be effected somehow in 2012.Astronomy is another point that Bara dives so deeply into. From explaining hyper-dimensional physics to understanding how the planets around our Earth effect the environment and quite possibly our emotions. Although I may not truly agree with all the horoscopes you can find in newspapers and magazines, I find it hard to believe that the planets that pass around us do not have a significant effect on us. It is proven that the Moon governs how fast the Earth spins, regulates and agitates the Earth's protective magnetic field, which is crucial to protecting us from high intensity solar flares and other types of deadly interstellar radiation, and influences the female menstrual cycle. Clearly the environment and ourselves are connected. There are some other subjects that I feel the reader or soon to be reader would like to know about this book before purchasing it. Bara deals with the Vedic religious culture who had Sanskrit scriptures called Vedas and within them are the concept of the Yugas, or ages, which govern the evolution of the world and the consciousness of Man. This is one of the better books when trying to find information on the Mayan culture and their calendar. The Hopi Indian prophecies are also a fascinating read to take part in. Of course, no 2012 book is complete without doomsday predictions, although it is clear that Bara believes it could happen, he doesn't think it will. The word apocalypse comes from the Greek word Apokalypsis, meaning "revelation" or "lifting of the veil". It can also be seen as a new beginning rather than an end of something else. The Choice was a fun and entertaining read. It was simple to get through while dealing with very many different topics. Although I may not have found the answers I was looking for on 2012, I was pleased with the overall subject matter of the book. This is definitely a book that views 2012 as a new, brighter beginning than a dark, gloomy ending. If you still find yourself gravitating to the idea of a 2012 event, read this book to help ground yourself a little more easily.

Simple, Elegant Integration
Thank you, Mike, for bringing together multiple disciplines and philosophies in such a clear, concise and easy to read format. I especially appreciate how the way you write makes me feel like I'm in a conversation with you.Everyone should read this book for a better understanding of our world on the largest and even smallest scales. Most importantly, read this book to remember the power that we human beings are - the power of our thoughts - the choice we have to generate ways of thinking and being - the power of collective thought - and on! It really is up to us and the Aether that connects all of everything.

Loved this book
Loved this book! Mike Bara confirmed everything I believed about the universe by reading the book. My friends all think I'm a little nutty when I bring this topic up. I love his cold hard evidence and facts he found on this topic. "The Choice" truly is a great read. I am very familiar with this topic, but I think anyone who has no prior knowledge to this field will be able to understand everything he is writing about. This book never gets boring! It's a real page turner. It's a must read for sure. I highly recommend this book to Amazon readers. I'm looking forward to reading more books written by Bara. Job well done!TLC

Not very good - Don't bother
Annoying book, poorly formatted and full of typos. Don't they proofread manuscripts before they go to print? This is a preachy and self indulgent book that doe not get to the point until the very end and even then it is thin in substance and does not have much to say.
