In the well-saturated dropper post market, it takes something special to make a new offering stand out. Bike Yoke's Revive Dropper Seatpost does just that. The Revive represents such a different take on dropper post functionality that Bike Yoke may as well have called it the Departure--as in, a departure from what we've come to expect. Namely, dropper posts that operate with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design, which is used to keep oil and air separate in the hydraulic system. If your dropper has ever inspired trail-side expletives, chances are good that IFP is to blame. It's a notoriously finicky design because of the precise tolerances and hydraulic babysitting required, both of which will often manifest as stuck or outright unresponsive droppers. The Revive throws off the burdensome IFP yoke in several ways. First, it literally eliminates the IFP. Second, it cuts the number of dynamic seals in half compared to the three most common dropper models, going from four to two. The result is a simpler system that doesn't require the precise tolerances and perfect seals of the typical IFP design, so it just works better because, well, it just works. And it keeps working without the issues inherent in IFP designs gumming up the works.

Easy to install, flawless performance so far, 185mm size fits perfectly in Small 2019 Ibis Ripmo
Very happy with this 185mm stroke post, now several months of riding with it. Installed on Small Ibis Ripmo frame, fit perfectly. Easy to install via semi-internal cable routing (Ripmo frame enables full cable housing routing through frame vs. cable-only and subsequent fishing for cable on older frames). Follow the directions to get cable length correct. Thumb/trigger lever locates where a front der shifter would go, exact same location and actuation.

Worked well...for a day.
I had multiple issues with this dropper post unfortunately, I read great reviews so I had high hopes. When I initially got the product I took it to the shop to be swapped out with my other dropper post, the remote did not have a predrilled hole, so I had to wait another week and pay for the labor to use my bike for the time.Once the part came in another piece broke, although that time It could have been the shops fault? Regardless I had to wait another week.Once the product was installed the shop told me the post was not elevating quick enough and they contacted and sent a video to the U.S. rep. They told the shop it was unusual but provided no correction to the issue.At this point I think to myself not a huge deal I’ll give it a shot. It worked great for a day... the next day the post won’t lock into position and had a squish feeling when extended.Needless to say I’m going to return this and get a brand name.

Works like a charm!!!
Easy install and works flawlessly!! Very pleased with this dropper post. There cable housing could be a bit longer, that said I did have to cut off 4.5" for my Stumpjumper. A longer housing would have made the measurement step easier but it really wasn't that big of a deal. If anything it slowed me down to check measurements repeatedly. Couldn't be happier with the look and operation!! Well done Bike Yoke!!!
