Crescent Wiss 10" Bend Handle Cushion Grip Industrial Shears - W20P

As heavy as these shears are being unable to have the small finger in the grip is very uncomfortable and a little unstable as well. I have a fair amount of cardboard to be cut into patterns. There is a more comfortable way to do it except it would require more space and set up time. The time saving is the primary reason I went with the shears but it sure can aggravate arthritis after prolonged use. The shears cut well and no doubt for my use will last forever.

These Wiss shears are awesome! I just finished upholstering a 23’ pontoon boat for friends. These shears easily cut through marine vinyl, snap in carpet, and Sunbrella fabric for the Bimini top. I’m so glad I bought the 10” shears instead of the 12” as my hands are small. This was the perfect size and weight. I’m sure I will be using my Wiss shears for many more projects! Definitely recommend and would buy again!

We have a very old US made Wiss #20 shears that are still the best shers in the house. We decided to get another one, naturally looked for a Wiss, and ordered a W20P. The W20p are of a very good quality and cuts very good but are significantly heaver than the older model (437g vs 345g) and have smaller loops (I can insert only 3 fingers in the lower loop compared to 4 in the old one). In addition the blades are thicker all the way with only a sharp slop in the last 2-3mm toward the edges which make it more difficult to use in tight applications compared to the old model. I decided to return the W20P to Amazon and look into one of the Gingher or Mundial models that looks similar to the traditional Wiss #20.

Love these. They're sharp, have a good feel in the hand, and the handles are quite comfortable.I've been using these when preparing my camping van. I've cut some dynamat insulation, and also some half-inch-thick cotton based insulation, and these cut very nicely, and the blades stay clean, even when working with the sticky dynamat. I wish I had discovered these earlier, I had previously been using razor blades and smaller heavy duty scissors units I had gotten at the hardware store. The cuts are easy, and the edges are clean and precise.

Big and solid pair of sicssors. Cut well, and constructed well as Wiss tools have always been with my experience. Highly recommend you purchase the sicssors, you will not be disappointed!

these are very sharp and well made, will cut anything including your finger off if you are not careful. Do NOT let children use.

Found out about the bent shears with thefoam grips, from a coworker. And have noticed that it is easier than all metal shears, on the hands and wrist it makes a difference.

They dont have any kind of tip pressure, the also oxidized after a few uses
