I'm loving this candle set. I originally got them to keep around in case of a power outage (they happen in our area a few times a year) . They will be a handy way to light the house when the power is out. When they came though, I was too curious to just leave them in the box and wait for the power outtage.Our entire family has been loving them. All of my kids have taken a couple to use in their rooms as gentle night lights, and I have a couple on our mantle. They provide such a pretty glow, and I feel so glamorous with them on.Definitely note that the big ones don't come with batteries. They each take 3 triple A's. The small ones and the remote control come with batteries and ready to go.We don't use real candles anymore because of safety concerns, and because they get used up too quickly. These are the perfect solution--as pretty as traditional candles, but no risk.I can't wait until a warm evening. These will create a perfect glow outside on the patio.I'd recommend these as a gift for yourself or anyone else. They create a wonderful gentle atmosphere, and are so versatile.The remote and timer for the big ones is super handy too. They really have thought of everything!!

Love these candles! A bit annoyed the little ones aren’t remote controlled and therefore stay on non-stop ( as I can’t be bothered switching them off one by one by hand). I read somewhere the batteries last around 100hrs, however I only had them for 4 days so I can’t confirm that. The big candles are already showing of a fainted light but that is because I have kept them on for 6-8 hrs a day. It was a plus the batteries were included so it was easy to enjoy them straightaway. They are a tad expensive but I guess it’s a choice at the end of the day and I chose these ones!

The candles do look lovely, but I was expecting all of them to be remote control. Only the pillar ones are and the small ones are not. The small ones also flicker which I didn't really want either. Not sure all that was clear from the description.regardless,they are a quality product and the remote is easy to use for the 4 taller ones. Will wait to see the battery life but I suspect OK as I won't leave them on all the time. Nice soft warm light.

Very nice addition to our lounge and contributes to soothing lighting without the hassle of a flame.

Feel I was conned the 4 small candles are a different shade from big ones. They don’t work with remote. The bigger ones are a horrible shade of pink and I feel I could have saved money buying them separately as the small candles retail at £2-99 each. A pack of the bigger ones would be £11. Very misleading but Amazon did refund me. Disappointed.

Although these looked great in the photos, I worried they might look a little tacky. I couldn't have been more wrong. The quality is excellent and the effect is very realistic, producing a flickering golden glow. Having a remote control is really handy, although as mentioned in other reviews, it doesn't work on the smallest candles. I bought these for myself but I'll be buying them for others for gifts in the future.

Candle smashed ,box battered and taped up. Useless and I have to pay to post it back!It's also time wasted driving to the post office. Poor quality overall, cheaply made. Not even worth one star .

Lovely lighting what’s really nice is that they are real wax. Used in the garden last week for a BBQ.

I love these candles, glittery just like the picture & the remote is great too. Candles look like they are flickering. Would buy again

The media could not be loaded.  I was very happily surprised that these candles came with batteries. I must have missed that in description. One little tea candle isn't working but I have spare batteries somewhere. Even so, I really just wanted the 3 large ones and I am very pleased. In the picture, I am holding the large candle. *Edit. It turns out the little tea light is defective with the flame having a loose connection with the base. I still love the set however. I'm sure it's just a fluke that mine is broken.
