Methods for real change are no longer a mystery
Truly life changing suggestions that are easy to initiate. Very logical and interesting narratives. If you've ever had an ah ha moment that you needed to change something about yourself but had no idea how to make that happen, this book can help. Really appreciate his suggestions for how to truly forgive someone. Has saved me from much lingering bitterness and grief. This is a spiritually based approach but not steeped in any sort of doctrine. You may not readily notice.

More spiritual and religious than I had anticipated...
The book is insightful and helps you think differently about people, situations and life in general. However, although the forward notes that this stays away from religious terminology that may separate us than unite, the author referenced his religion often so I skipped over those parts, but it was hard not to think this was the books underlying purpose and meaning.

Got issues? Here's how to let them go!
This is an e celebrate self-help book for people who are struggling with anger issues from various sources. There are simple exercises to work toward healing and "letting go." It is in plain language and a no-nonsense approach to handling your "issues."

Very helpful, easy ways to "practice" letting go of all that's holding you back!
Purchased for a friend (for the nth time over the last 20 years). Excellent, and, for me and those I gifted it to, best "self help" book I've read (again and again).

I love this little book
I love this little book. I first read it many years ago when I was newly launched on a spiritual (NOT religious) path. I've read a boatload of books in between, but this one is still very good nuts and bolts awakening stuff.

Read once, then go back and follow the steps.
This book is a very easy read, but contains a ton of helpful steps and exercises. I suggest reading it first, then going back and doing the releases in order. Hugh is very insightful, and no matter what religious path you are following, this guide will help you let go and be more "in the moment". I found myself nodding my head a lot. I could agree with and relate to so many things he wrote. It just seems to make so much sense, but, yes, more difficult to put into practice.

Couldn't put it down
Compelling reading. One of those self-help books that challenges your thinking in a refreshing way. If you read Dale Carnegie's "How To Stop Worrying and Start Living" in your youth and enjoyed it, this is an ideal contemporary supplement.
