We own a few other brands of weighted blankets as we have children with sensory troubles. We saw this and took a chance. Don’t make the mistake we did.The “weighted” blanket is just inside the outer shell and doesn’t distribute evenly. It gets bunched up and is a pain to fix over and over daily. Obviously this is difficult for children and even adults.

I've wanted to try a Gravity Blanket (the original, not the knock offs) for quite some time because I have trouble sleeping at night for many reasons including anxiety and worry caused by a busy mind that is difficult to shut off at night!In October 2018, I finally purchased a 20-pound Galaxy Blue Gravity Blanket (which comes with a washable removable cover)! The size is 48" x 72" which is the size of a larger throw blanket rather than a King or Queen size I was used to. The photo I provided here is just a section of the blanket to show what it looks like up close (not the greatest picture though).I thought it might be too hot because of the weight of it but it isn't any warmer than a thick comforter. The warmth helps provide coziness which provides a feeling of security (in my experience).The first few days of using my Gravity Blanket I wasn't sure I liked it. Having 20-pounds of weight evenly distributed over you all night long was an odd sensation at first. Then on Day 7, I put the blanket on and it enveloped me and provided a good night's sleep. I used to only sleep for 2 hours at a time, wake up and then couldn't get back to sleep. Now I sleep for 4-5 hours or more at a time.I look forward to going to bed at night because my Gravity Blanket calls my name! I am used to the weight of it now as it provides comfort and a feeling of security, and it is very soft. Since the Gravity Blanket is now my new Best Friend, I don't go to sleep without it!

This was a waste of money. The pellets shift too much and end up in one corner of the blanket. Some of the reviews I read stated the pellets are evenly distributed with the blanket sewn in chambers to maintain the integrity of the weight distribution. This is not the case in the blanket I received!! How do I return this thing?

These blankets were gifts for my daughter and granddaughter. They absolutely love 'em, use them on the couch, in the chair, as well as in the bed. Security, warmth, comfort, those are the words they use. Me, I'd have little use for them. If I needed more weight I'd get another blanket and throw that on the bed. Why, then, did I give it such a high rating? When you have daughters and granddaughters and you make them happy, and they feel warmth and safe and secure? That deserves the highest rating of all, my friend.

Although it doesn’t fit my full queen size bed, it’s perfect for myself as I have another blanket for the other side. I’m single and this size is perfect for me. I’m 5’9” and 200 or so pounds and this 25lb option feels amazing. It literally feels as your being snuggled and it’s a pretty awesome feeling to say the least. I’m tickled a friend recommended this item to me as I suffer from sever anxiety and panic disorder along with insomnia and this blanket truly helps with these conditions. I was in doubt when purchasing the Gravity Blanket due to the price but I have to admit it’s well worth the money spent. I’m glad I made this purchase and it’s super soft as well. If you aren’t my size, I suggest getting one not as heavy but the 25lb is recommended for my size and whatnot.If your looking for top quality and great comfort, I suggest you make the investment and purchase yourself one. I made the comment it doesn’t fit my queen bed but it’s designed for only one person I believe and looks great with my other blanket which I don’t use but just have it for show on my bed. I use Sheex premium sheets too so it’s like heaven on Earth when I lay in my bed with this wonderful and amazing product and my nice premium sheets.

This item should seriously have a DISCLAIMER that all purchases of this item from Amazon should be thought of as FINAL sale because returns and exchanges will cost you about 25-35% of the blanket cost in return shipping (depending on weight and location). I contacted Gravity directly and there were no options to avoid the cost of return shipping, either by returning the blanket to an Amazon 4 star store location or Gravity vending partner. As a first time Gravity blanket customer I was excited to try a weighted blanket but a 20 lbs blanket was ultimately too heavy despite their weight guidelines. This huge flaw in their returns and exchange policy convinced me to go with a blanket from one of their competitors.

I am disabled and the weight makes it difficult to put it in my decorative duvet and onto my bed. I bought the queen/king to fit my bed and I wish they would also make it in a 20 pound instead of 35.I got the cooling one since it was supposed to help with sleepers that get hot when they sleep...my issues it hot flashes. Btw I think it did its job because I didn't wake up hot. I did put it in a decorative duvet since the soft fuzzy one would hang on to my dogs hair really bad. The soft fuzzy cover does feel great.I slept under it and it took some getn used to, but it wasn't bad. However after my sister-in-law took it off my bed, it hasn't been the same. I never could get it fitted back in the duvet right after she wadded it up. It would slide of the bed no matter what I did. I'm so mad at her for not asking 1st about taking it off my bed. I haven't slept right since.It's now folded up and siting in its box. Because when she comes back...im making her help me fit it!But please make a 20 or 25 pound one in the queen/king size for disabled people like me.

I had no idea how wonderful a weighted blanket could be! I don't think I have ever rested so well. And, it's not only beautiful, but is also very high quality. But, because of the weight, it does take some getting used to. It is recommended that you purchase one that is 10% of your body weight. So, for me that means its heavy and not "cuddly" like a comforter or lap blanket. I use it in bed and for the express purpose of sleeping. It takes a little effort to go to the bathroom at night and get back into bed, but its so worth it!

This really helps me sleep.

I’ve been sleeping under this 230x230 and 15kg blanket for a few weeks now, and it’s Great! I wouldn’t give it away and it’s worth the steep price. I sleep through the nights and wake up more rested. Nothing is 100% but previously I had difficulties in falling asleep.Negative: It is too warm for the summer season though, and I have to figure out a easier trick on how to do the washing.
