No more venting holes?
The media could not be loaded. Update: They removed the venting holes which are particularly important to me since I distant run. I would have thought it was a mistake but I ordered two pairs in different sizes be the venting holes are missing from both. That’s disappointing especially since there was no indication that they made a design change.Original ReviewI’m a distance runner (on and off since 1989). Over the past year I started having sharp knee pains when running and then when walking. So I stopped running, but I could not stop walking. The pain occurred frequently, almost every time I walked. Also I had a trip planned to Spain where I would be walking many miles. After a lot of research I found these inserts for low arch/flat feet. They arrived days before my trip and I started using them immediately. The first walk I had zero knee pain and I was cautiously optimistic. I wore them in Spain and walked many miles (approximately 30) with zero knee pain. Thank God!! They really work! I wore three different pairs or shoes swapping the inserts each time. I’ll be ordering several more because I wear various work, casual and athletic shoes. By the way, I’ve been switching these inserts between my sneakers, oxfords, and casual footwear and they fit perfectly and work in each style. I’m truly impressed and so happy. Now I can begin training for my next race. One note about comfort, they are noticeable because they provide support where your foot needs it. Some may find this uncomfortable at times. No knee pain far outweighs the feeling of the artificial arch support. I’ve already gotten used to the feeling of the new support. They have a new customer for sure.

Does it's job.
Working well so far, replaced the Merrell liner with these in some hiking boots. Only squeaked for the 1st week of wear. Easy to fit, didn't have to cut for size 12 boot. They are comfortable.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Got some new work boots and tried many insoles before theses. All of them left my feet and back hurting by the end of the day. THESE INSOLES ARE A LIFE CHANGER! I don't usually leave reviews but they earned this one. I have low arches and now I can actually walk when I get off work!!

Not cheap but probably worth it
This is my second pair of this exact product. I actually wore out the previous shoes but not the superfeet. The hard composite piece looked almost like new after about 10 months and who knows how many miles. The foam part was slightly flattened and starting to wear under my one toe. I could have easily gotten another 6 months out of the previous pair except they stank to high heaven in spite of shoe odor sprays. Since I didn't like the idea of my brand new shoes starting out smelling foul, I just chucked the old superfeet and bought more. There's not a lot to say. They're an insole. They provide good arch support. They may make your feet hurt a week or two before you get used to them. There's a decent chance they'll make your shoes squeak somewhat loudly when you walk. I decided to try some because I developed plantar fasciitis after wearing shoes for overpronating when I should have had neutral. Oops. The superfeet did the trick and my feet eventually stopped hurting.Day to day I don't notice much difference but my feet do hurt less after long walks and the extra arch support is nice. I wear 4E (wide) shoes so I ordered up a size and trimmed the ends. These are better than drugstore insoles and cheaper than custom orthotics so if you think they'd help you, it's not a bad choice.

Amazing for active feet
When my Physical therapist suggested I get some inserts to help in correcting my patellar tendonitis, I was skeptical.I do have flat feet and the arches collapse even more when my feet get tired from a long run, jumping rope, or a hard workout. These are indeed very light and very rigid without feeling uncomfortably high. They are indeed really thin so they were easy to add on top of sneakers that didn't have a removable insole without adding too much bulk or height to the shoe. My Asics I use for running had removable insoles of nearly the same thickness so they were a perfect match. I also used them in my Puma indoor soccer shoes as well as Nike trainers and running shoes. Comfortable and stable in everything. The logos peel off the top of them pretty fast from hard use... But they don't really change how they work or feel. They made me Much more aware of when my feet were starting to get tired. They continued to give me support even when they were tired and wanted to collapse causing my alignment issues and aggravating my knee tendonitis.Unfortunately, these are NOT thin enough for dance shoes. I wish there was something on the market that has dancers in mind... Allowing for feel in the toes and mobility in the balls of the feet while still providing arch support. They would have to be even thinner than these.I also wish they were cheaper so I could get more sets instead of swapping!

Great support, but not for very long
I've been using superfeet brand inserts for about 15 years now. For someone who has really high arches, having the right support is critical to being comfortable while on your feet. I bought this specific style to use in low profile skate shoes (for skateboarding). I was sold on their light weight and low profile, but mixed with the abuse of skateboarding they didn't last long. I've honestly never warn out a pair of superfeet before so this completely caught me off guard, especially considering the hard plastic bottoms were cracked after about a dozen trips to the skate park. ( for reference, I don't skate anything that would be considered high impact)If you really have to have the lightest inserts, these will work. Otherwise, you'll get far better value for money getting any of the more main stream styles of Superfeet.

Not cheap but very supportive
Previously I have always worn the BLACK Superfeet insoles (they are thin, so fit most shoes) in my footwear. But decided to try these CARBON insoles for more support in trainers and walking shoes. Goodness, they are excellent. They are almost as thin as the BLACK ones, BUT the arch support is far more robust so gives better arch supports to my feet during long days of walking or travelling. They aren't cheap, but then they stop knee and hip pain, and that is worth it!
