Standzout Standzfree 48-Inch iPad 1, 2, 3 and 4 Floor Stand, Silver

I purchased this stand 8 months ago and I absolutely love it with one exception. The first stand head broke in less than 3 months. Seller indicated they only sold complete units and they sent me a new stand very quickly and hassle free. Excellent customer service. In January, the new stand head broke in the same place it had broken on the original stand head.Was looking for a replacement stand when I found the company now sells replacement heads. I purchased the new head for $19.99 + shipping. Unfortunately, the head does not seem to have been redesigned and the piece that is a single plastic clip that attaches the stand to the device still has the cutout which compromises the integrity of the clip and is where the last two heads broke. Expect the new head to break in the same place as the other two. Wish they would eliminate the cutout. Not sure how many times I will choose to replace the head, rather than just purchasing a different stand altogether.Stability: I place the bottom of the stand under my end table when I have the stand telescoped to counter balance the weight to ensure stability. The telescoping ability allows me to place my Ipad in the center of my viewing area providing me with an ergonomic work station. It reaches over the arm of my recliner with no issues. I can also place the stand base under the mattress on our bed and use it there too.I've also found I can slide my Kindle Keyboard into the two end pieces and it fits perfectly. I can read my kindle in landscape or portrait view. Definitely a bonus!If it wasn't for 2 heads breaking in 3-4 each, I would give this stand 5 stars!

I purchased this stand for a generation IPad. Though the neck is quite sturdy and the base is heavy enough to keep the tablet from toppling over, the flexible adjustable neck makes for a shakey tablet at any height. I would caution everyone that the head and ball nut is plastic so be careful attaching it to the base and be sure not to over tighten the nut.There are more sturdy options at a lower cost for anything other than IPad 1.

I received a silver one. I ordered a white one to avoid the lengthy shipping time of silver. The silver is fine. It assembled easily and holds the iPad securely. If you type or touch the screen the stand wobbles making the screen hard to read. The base may not be heavy enough to keep it from tipping.

plastic carrier that holds the ipad broke within a month. The thin tab that has two 'arms' and flexes to lock onto the ipad snapped off, rendering it useless. Looks to be a 1" ball, so the RAM mounting solutions might work to make it useable. Nice idea though**Update: My wife contacted the company and they offered to replace with an improved design at no charge! I have to say, I'm impressed with the service!I will update with impressions on the new design. I have to upgrade them for standing behind their products!

The stand is really nice. It fits the iPad very securely (without a case on it), and is adjustable to whatever position you need. I like that it extends and contracts to fit the height you need. The arm is a little bulky and difficult to get into just the right position at times, but once it's set it's easy to watch. Perfect for laying in bed with an ipad over head. Also it easily swings out of the way so it's easy to get in and out of bed still.

I bought a WHITE stand, to match my white iPad. I think lots of us got white iPad.When I upgrade to iPad Air and needed their Universal iPad holder, BUT it comes only in BLACK.I have requested that their new Universal iPad holder to come in WHITE too, BUT they say NO! Cause NO demand.So White iPad users, stay AWAY from this if you like matching colours for your stand.

The stand is touchy and moves too much when tapping the ipad. As a stand it works great, only when tapping or swiping a lot is when the stand sways too much.

Disappointed. Does not fit the iPad Air!Had to buy the Universal amount from the stand manufacturers website in the U.S. The particular mount is not available in white. Got charged import duty for the additional mount. Stand should fit the iPad Air which was released in 2013!

great stand, use it to entertain our new baby as it's easy to bend. Just be careful if you bend it too much over it may topple! great to use when you're feeding baby also as you can hold a bottle, baby and still tap the ipad, although now baby is getting older, she wants to touch the screen!!

Not a good as I hoped. Some stability issues and the neck is too stiff for me to get the flexibility I wanted. Shame as great idea to help posture.

Excellent quality and very stable. Not quite as portable as I had hoped but otherwise very good as a music stand and holds my IPad quickly and safely, which is my main requirement. Also looks very good.
