Monarch Abode20310 Flower Planter Garden Pots with Drainage Hole, Nickel Finish

This is one of those "if I could give minus five stars I would" reviews. I bought these to re-pot some herbs that were enthusiastically outgrowing their previous containers. Within days they had started to wilt and die. The pots produce masses of rust - see pictures - that I assume poisoned my plants. Maybe you could use these as cache-pots, but you'd still have to deal with the rust. If you let the pots drip anywhere you get orange stains. Take my advice and DO NOT BUY.

I have never killed a plant. I'm 49 years old. I used two of the three planters, and both succulents died. I used great dirt, too.

These planters are beautiful, sturdy, and very classy looking. Not cheap at all. They look and feel as if I paid double the price. The saucers do the trick of catching the extra water from the plants and do a nice job of protecting our shelves.

They aren't coated to actually be usable as planters. Within a week of using they were all rusted through.

Love these planters. They are a good size and very simplistic!

I love the coloring and design. They match my kitchen pulls perfectly. They are lightweight, but sturdy enough that the cats don't knock them over. I would definitely order again.

Really nice little planters. The base is separate from the pot.
