Prime-Line 9034254 Wood Screw, Flat Head Phillips, #4 X 1/2 in, Solid Brass, Pack of 25

Worked well but too long for my project. Not their fault. Seemed to be of good quality but didn’t use them for this project.

I was screwing brass to a hardback material for an award. I wanted to use brass screws for the brass, to avoid future corrosion. However.... even after pre-drilling the material, every brass screw snapped and broke [eventually making my material's holes oversized because of it]. A little too soft of material for me, which is odd, since both are brass.

I read that others said these were very, very small once I received them. I ordered them in a hurry in case the ones I wanted didn't arrive soon enough. These would have been too small for the purpose I needed, but if I have something that requires a smaller screw, I will reach for these, because they really are as gorgeous as screws could be...

These screws are absolute garbage ! Got them to reattach cabinet door hinges. Replacing screws of same size going into pre-threaded holes in wood. First two I used the heads twisted off before they even got snug. Using a small screwdriver tightening with two fingers on the handle ! Don't know what they are made of but you should melt them down and start over !

Strong and small

Tried two times to screw these into a board and the head broke off both times. Don’t buy. Almost ruined my art piece

After using three and having the heads break off that was it! Now I’m left with a full bag of nice looking screws that I have to throw away! Do not waste your money. This is one Amazon find you do not want

Bought these screws to install a drawer handle. The 6 I tried to use all broke in half while installing them into the cabinet drawer (which was mdf board, so not even hard wood).

I tried to put a piano hinge on my project drilled a pilot hole and they all broke

did the job, attaching 1/4 inch molding.
