The media could not be loaded. This is the only stain that replicates the look of aged gumwood trim from the 20s - 40s. I’ve tried many and all have failed. Know your wood, know your application method, and this will give you 0 issues. Apply generously with a rag and wipe smooth.My only complaint is that this shade is only available with poly mixed in. It’s not a huge deal but I’d prefer to stain and poly separately for a better finish. As you can see on these raw oak quarter round pieces from Home Depot - it comes out beautiful either way. Work precisely, prep your wood, understand what type of wood you are working with, and the results speak for themselves.

I have used this product successfully every time. It is a great product and great timesaver. My trick is, I do not spray it on, or use a brush. I put rubber gloves on and use a rag from cut up t-shirts. I dip the rag, and spread it on by hand. This lets you put some good pressure on it, which helps spread it out evenly and get it into the grains better. It also reduces bubbles. People give this bad reviews, but I dont get why. They are obviously applying it wrong. T-shirt rags, take your time, and apply multiple coats until you get a nice shine. Raw wood requires 3-4 coats to get a nice shine. Apply a coat, then give it a good 12 hours to dry, then another coat. Don't rush a project, take your time. If you try to apply another coat too soon, you will not achieve a good result.

The product is great. The price not so much. Thought I was saving over the local box store but was the small can. My bad in a hurry and did not notice the size.

Does tend to streak on surfaces so must apply liberal with long strokes of the paint brush otherwise love the product. We changed our kitchen table from light oak to Madison Oak table with black chairs. Very stunning and turned out better than we expected.

This IS a great product.I’ve been using it for years and it seals and stains perfectly.However, this seller “MEET YOUR NEEDS” is ripping people off.For $29.15 you get the 8 Oz version of this product NOT the 1 Quart size.I could have paid $19.88 from the Seller: Amazon and received the full quart size (4 times the size at $9.27 less).I will NEVER buy from “MEET YOUR NEEDS”!

This product smells very strong, don't make the mistake of using it indoors. It also took 2days to be dry to the touch.It looks good however, but not worth the effort,I will never buy it again

While the headline does specify "1/2 pint", the label on the first two product images doesn't show quantity, and the third image shows a much larger 32 oz can.The product cannot be returned, because it's flammable.Hopefully, this review will help people understand what they are truly getting. It's disappointing to pay $80 (txs included) for such a ridiculously small product.
