I wouldn't say that the tie is top quality, but I wasn't expecting it to be for the price. However, it does look nice. The clasp system seems to hold the pendent well. It will do the job for a one-time western themed event. However, if I were to be a frequent wearer of western wear, I would definitely upgrade to a quality item.

Bought this for my hubby because it is identical to his belt buckle that he has had for many years now. He liked it very much! It is made with quality material and the craftsmanship is flawless. Definitely worth the price!

Wasn't sure what I'd get with this. I have a couple of western shirts and decided to try to dress them up with a couple of bolos. I'd seen something similar to this when I was a kid.It's exactly as pictured. Not sure how much of it is real, but it looks real. Received several comments. It's definitely a conversation-starter. The string is either leather or leather-like...either way, it appears to the passing eye to be leather. Tips are metal.

Looks cool, good quality, feels sturdy and I'm sure it's a real scorpion in there! What I didn't realise is that it also glows in the dark once it has been charged with light.

This bolo tie is nice for the amount of money I paid for it.. The cord is not all that great., so had to replace it with some paracord.. I would buy it again if the cord was better...
