Decent Fit, Great Price
You can find these rubberized temporary side shields all over the internet. These work fine - I bought for my entire electronics and mechanical assembly area in a manufacturing plant. They are a "medium" size so they fit correctly on most glasses. They are a soft, pliable rubber (like the sides of full eye goggles) - so easy to squish as needed to fit over temple pieces. They are not a perfect fit on all glasses - none of these flexible shields are. But with the pliable rubber, you can manipulate them on your glasses to get appropriate fit.

Works perfectly on all my glasses
I'm an NYC ER RN. ER saying,"Safety glasses are cheaper than eye transplants." I'm fussy about eye safety. These inexpensive items turn my safety glasses to safety glasses with effective eye shields. Are side shields important? In a word, "Yes". Side "blunt/sharp/agent" trauma to the eye is less common than forward trauma but it happens all the time. These fit all my glasses - large lens safety glasses, medium lens every day glasses - and go on/off easily and quickly. They are pliant and conforms easily to arm and lens shape and trims easily if necessary. And they are modest in price.

Good add on to prescription glasses
A good add-on to prescription glasses. It turns them quickly into safety glasses. The plastic is flexible which makes installation easy. The vision is blurred through the shield. This feels a little strange at first but you get used to it very quickly. For the price, this is great value and you should consider this for doing DIY work at home. I like it.

A+ recommend for glasses wearers! fantastic product.
these are a great addition to glasses with protective lenses. these protect the sides of the eye, where regular glasses do not.this is my second order and we have used these H.L. Bouton slide-on sidesheilds from the seller VisionAid since november 2016. the person who wears them works in a blacksmith shop and their main function is to run the grinder wheel most of the day sharpening tools. he wears a face shield, but we had 2 scares where he got metal in his eye. then we found THESE. no issues since. he takes them off and puts them on every day, and we ordered 3 pair last time. he just wore through his last pair and we had to order more. theoretically, if you left them on your work glasses, they could stay fine forever. but he removes his daily. eventually the little holder piece wears out. its also important to note that he is not gentle on ANYTHING. so that also is a factor.TL:DRgreat product. 2nd order. after 3rd pair of original order from 11/2016 wore out.

No sé ajusta a todos los tipos de lentes
Es de material flexible entonces se dobla muy fácil, no se adapta a la forma de mis lentes

Very Versatile
I have used these on two different types of glasses and they worked very well on both. One set was a fairly thin wire frame(as in the product pic)and they shields did not slide around. Being thin frames I thought the shields would have a tendency to slide out of place but they stayed right where I put them. The next set had a thicker plastic frame but smaller lenses. Again I was pleased the shield did not wobble(it actually only contacted the top of the frame due to the lenses being so narrow).I wore both for a week straight(60+ hours each week)with an active job and am very happy with the results.I bought 3 sets just in case but now I see now I would have been fine with just one set.

strongly recommend polycarbonate instead
These are soft, deformable plastic side-shields that are about 2 mm thick. The maximum lens height that can be accommodated is 35 mm. The ones I received are stamped "Vision Aid USA" and "Z87" and may not be identical to slip-on side shields that are HL Bouton branded. My big complaint is the terrible optical properties of the plastic. It distorts everything, so that your peripheral vision is filled with light and color, which is distracting, but you can't actually see anything in your peripheral vision. If you have ever used "drinking goggles" that simulate the experience of being drunk - the experience is somewhat like those. My secondary concern is with the deformability of the plastic. The plastic may be thick enough to absorb an impact from a small particle, but because it is so soft, the side shield does not grip the frame firmly. Any impact may simply push the side shield out of the way, rather than deflecting the incoming particle.I strongly recommend stiff polycarbonate side shields instead, which have excellent optical properties and can be tightly attached to the frame. I ordered some from "safetyglassesusa.com" because I did not find any on Amazon.

Comforatable Perfect Fit
These are a great product! I needed some safety glasses for the gun club, but don't like fit-overs or a second pair of prescription safety glasses. These slide right on the arms and the flexible plastic pretty much molds to the frame. Instant safety glasses! These will wear out over time, but I'll order a couple of more sets.FYI: These fit perfect over my oval frame style glasses, shaped similar to classic Oakley sunglasses. They are flexible and would probably fit severe to large oval frames.
