Christina Women's Geometric Fashion Lanyard (Silver)

I really wanted to like this lanyard and I gave it six months but I just can't give it more than three stars. At the current quality, this lanyard would be best used for the occasional conference or meeting, not for daily use.Pros:- Design; simple, clean, a nod to the more modern consumer.- Length; at full length my id badge sits at my belly button which is the perfect for my taste.Cons:- Quality; for the price I was expecting more substantial material. The geometric pieces seem to be made of metal coated in some sort of silver paint. The links are not quite as durable. The links juxtaposed to the badge clasp broke four times within the first three months of ownership and now break almost every two days. I've had to "MacGyver" it back together several times. For someone who sits and codes behind a desk all day, I am very disappointed this product breaks so much.

These are beautiful. The clasp on one of them broke as soon as I went to use it for the first time. I contacted customer service and they were great about sending a replacement. But after using the other one for only a few weeks, the chain spontaneously broke and slid off my neck. I was literally just typing at my desk when I felt something slide down the front of my chest and heard something land on the floor to see my badge and the lanyard laying there. I didn't bother reaching out for another replacement. Glad i noticed because my badge allows access throughout my office building, and it has money on it for purchases in the on-site dining room. I decided just to use the company-issued nylon lanyard that is no where near as attractive, but much more dependable.

I only received the gold lanyard after placing the order for the pair, but the seller promptly sent me to silver lanyard when I asked about it. Both the gold and silver lanyards are very pretty, and neither have started to show wear. (I mention that because I've purchased others that show wear/tarnish within the first month of use.) I'm very happy with this purchase.

The only downside to this product is that it's heavier than the cloth lanyards, but that's not really a surprise since it is metal. I've been wearing the gold lanyard for a week now with a frequently-used retractable extender, a couple cards, and a key attached and I've found it to be quite sturdy. I haven't noticed any discoloration or flaking at this point. It looks so much better with business clothes than one of those shoelace-type lanyards!

The lanyards are exactly as described. They are lightweight and attractive to wear all day. I purchased both gold and silver so that I would have a daily choice. I would recommend these to anyone looking for an attractive option for a work setting.

I love them. I wore the silver one yesterday and today I am wearing the gold. I figured if I am going to have to wear a lanyard all the time, it may as well be something that I like. I really like this lanyard because it goes with everything I wear and it is like a piece of jewelry. However, it broke within the first few minutes of putting it on. I was able to repair it with a stronger link from another lanyard but it has broken at least 3 more times. This would be perfect if it was sturdier.

I use this lanyard to hold my credentials when I am volunteering at a hospital. I love that it allows me to have a stylish alternative to the typical fabric lanyards. What I don't love is that it seems to flip my credentials around more often than not so I spend a lot of time flipping them over so they show.
