Uncle Mike's Mirage Plain Duty Keepers Molded Snap Belt

If you like to wear your sidearm, magazines, and gear pouches on a 2” or 2.25” duty belt (not the belt keeping your pants up) these belt keepers are a must have. They snap securely in place and keep your duty belt from sliding above or below your pants belt. Just ensure that when you put them on you place them in the direction with the ends pointing up. That way when you sit down in a chair they do not get snagged and come unsnapped.

Best belt keepers out there. They look good and stay snapped. Been in a few "incidents" that went to the ground and no issues. Unlike the nylon keepers these don't fray and get loose. These stay tight and don't flex as much as cheaper ones. Get these if you don't want to look like a soup sandwich.

I first purchased this product in October of 2016. I still have the original 4 that came with the set and I still wear them regularly. I am a very active Officer in a jump-out unit and have yet to see any stretching, breaking, or un-wanted un-coupling. This probably depends on the batch made, but I am ordering an additional set now in the hopes that they last as long as their predecessors have.

This are not as good as what I've been using. I always used leather keepers, which stretch a bit, these are hard plastic. I've had the Mirage duty belt for sixteen plus years, which is flexible, these aren't. I needed to get a new one, so I figured I'd upgrade my 20+yr old keepers. I ordered the 2.25 inch for a 2 in belt system. The problem is that the belt is adjustable, I'm at the skinnier end of the scale, so there is doubling up of the primary duty belt and the inner belt. The 2.25 inch keepers won't work on the front. They work OK on the back, but I'll keep my leather belt keeper.

I usually like Uncle Mike Gear, but these were crummy. The snaps were not lined up well enough to close on 3 of the 4 keepers. I even put WD40 on them to help snap but they did not work. Keepers looked sturdy and have a clean nice look. If you do get these give yourself a good 30 minutes to put them on or you'll be late for Roll Call

Good quality, you can tell by just looking at them they are made with quality material. Will test them out for about a month and report back, most other clips seem to fall apart after a few weeks, I will see how these hold up over time

These pre-curved keepers are excellent at keeping your duty belt secured to your underbelt. And being pre-curved makes it easier to slip under the under belt and much easier to snap.

These things are garbage! One of them had a broken snap right out of the package. the snaps are so weak that they actually undo theirselves on my duty belt continuously throughout the night. I find myself ree snapping them or my partner having to square me away four or five times a night. These things are garbage!
