This is not the first time we tried "shrooms" - Sink/bath Shrooms. Love them.In our household we all have longish hair. Before using this product, I would have to frequently fish a wad of hair and soap out of the drains. I quickly got tired of this. At first, we got the silicon bathtub version. It worked great. Found out there are at least two sizes of drain holes, however. One bathroom had a larger size, slipped right in. The other bathroom had a smaller one, tighter fit. The Shroom will still work, but you have to get it to sit in the hole just right, and then, let it form itself to the hole size. This deforms the Shroom and slightly slows drainage time. Not to worry unless you have Niagara Falls water flow.We also tried it on drains and it worked great. Unfortunately we noticed a black coating on the silicone type Shroom. This did not wash off. We think it is black mold...? Looking on Amazon I found a stainless steel version for the sink. So far it is easier to keep clean and does the job. It comes with three different size gaskets to fit various size drain hole openings. Happily the product saves a lot of time and effort.

Had two bathroom sink drains that never drained properly because the stopper didn't lift high enough and the drains were always getting clogged. This solved both problems quickly and inexpensively. Just popped out the old stoppers and inserted these in seconds. Drains are flowing great for the first time ever. Exact fit for 1.25" drain and includes adapters for 1" and 1.5". Very attractive looking as well Highly recommended.

This sink drain protector is great. It looks nice and was very easy to install. It's super easy to take it out and clean off the hair that collects. Much less hassle than the little plastic zipper thing I used to use to clean the drains.I do miss having a stopper. The one that came with it is too small for the bathroom sink and will not stay inserted, especially if I am doing something like hand wash because it comes out at the slight touch since it is not at all flush with the drain. I have found that it works pretty well when inserted upside down. I would just purchase the drain protector and get something else for the stopper if I had it to do over.

This keeps hair from constantly clogging my bathroom sink. I love it. Just pop out the top part and easily clean the hair. Great solution instead of constantly buying drain unclog chemicals.

I have these in all my bathroom sinks. Prior to putting them in I'd end up having to unclog my bathroom sinks every few months due to hair or soap buildup. These things do an amazing job of capturing hair and deterring soap residue buildup in the upper part of the drain. I love the fact that they are stainless steel too because they last forever. Super easy to put in and pull our for cleaning. The only down side is having to pull all the disgusting collected hair and debris off them but its amazing when you realize how much stuff goes down your drain the probably shouldn't. If your sink has a built in drain stopper then make sure you buy the the version that comes with the rubber drain plug since you have to remove the sink's builtin stopper once you install this one,. Hihgly recommended and worth every penny,...

This drain protector is working beautifully. It was easy to install and is very easy to remove and clean.

I tried 3 other ones. This drain replacement is amazing. It catches the hair beautifully. I saved a lot of money not having a plumber-can't get one to come to the house for theses little things anyway. Installment is a breeze. I opened the package and pushed it in the drain hole. No tools! Took more time to open the package than it did installing. I sent one to my 88 year old mother for her bathroom sink! Brilliant invention!!! Cleaning is easy, just need to let it dry to remove the hair. I have long hair and was amazed at how much this thing collects. I clean it every two weeks unless the sink starts to drain slowly. Then I clean it earlier. Easier than pulling the nut off the trap and cleaning that mess up!!! I'm not a fan of climbing into my cabinet under my sink to deal with the trap!

Great product. All the shrooms are amazing. Have the tub, and kitchen shroom as well. Catches all hair and anything else that may slip down sink. Easy to clean and prevents clogs. Water always drains.

We have what it would appear is a small drain hole on our shower so none of the bath shrooms would fit but this is perfect. It catches so much hair and just needs cleaning every now and then when the draining slows down. It does obviously slow down the speed that the water drains away which causes a bit of a puddle and can mean some soap marks in the shower tray but thats the price to pay to not have to put drain cleaner in once a week!
