Stuffed Bear Needed
This is a great book on problem solving. You and your child can have a lively discussion on how manny bears can sit on the chairs. You may be surprised. Calico, Fuzzy, Yellow and Floppy show us how it's done. I highly recommend this book for the wonder you will see in your child's eyes as they try and figure out the puzzle.

Cute story, quality book.
The illustrations are adorable and I like the concept of the story. I would have liked a slightly simpler plot for toddlers to follow. The multiple chair movings get a little draggy, but overall still a super cute book.

Simple story with cute pictures and good lesson
I bought this board book as a gift. I flipped through it and read it to preview before wrapping it up. "Bears on Chairs" is a simple story with cute, colorful pictures (see cover for example). The lesson is also very good. the story teaches about sharing and working together. The story talks about a handful of bears trying to figure out how they will all sit on the chairs because they didn't have enough chairs for one for each bear. Overall, this is a good board book, and I recommend it.

A Very Cute Children's story...
This book is beautifully illustrated and simply written that I'm sure all of my kids will enjoy these five adorable bears. Just a bit of author's feedback, I'll likely change the bear names to more level appropriate colors, plus using little and big brown bear work nicely to showcase sizes.

"Bear" Rhymes With "Chair"
I bought this book for my 9-month-old because I loved David Walker's sweet illustrations in Flip, Flap, Fly!: A Book for Babies Everywhere. The pictures in "Bears on Chairs" are sufficiently cute (although they don't hold a candle to "Flip, Flap, Fly"), but my daughter and I find the text very boring. Almost every stanza rhymes the words "bear", "chair", and "there", so you won't find many interesting sounds, vocabulary, or word play. Furthermore, every line of the entire book rhymes with the same sound, "-air", which quickly starts to sound very harsh and repetitive. I give the book three stars because we do like the illustrations and the book promotes creative sharing, something I haven't seen much in other baby-to-preschool books. For now, though, I have to paraphrase most of "Bears on Chairs" to keep my daughter's attention.

Adorable book
I purchased this since my toddler has issues sitting in chairs. This is a cute way to introduce him to the concept of sitting in chairs. It'll be nice to be able to eat in a restaurant without him walking back and forth in the booth seats. :X

I loved this sweet book!
This book is a wonderful book to teach emotions and math skills. The bears are very considerate and problem solve how to let the big bear join them when they are short 1 chair. I loved the many ways move the chairs until the problem is solved. This is great for the preschool age child. This will go on my all time favorite book list!
