I started using Avene products a few years ago. I love the line for a few reasons- long standing history of treating skin care in Europe, most products are Paraben-free and free of most harsh chemicals, affordable. Most importantly because of my very sensitive skin their products give me great results. I would recommend this line for any age. I am just 50 and my skin is really looking good, keeps the redness down, no bumps and keeps my skin hydrated.Some days I get some redness and even if I had zero redness I would still use this suncreen because it offers broad spectrum protection and gentle. Non greasy, absorbs nicely, keeps skin soft, very slight light nice scent.I also love- the High Protection Tinted Compact-I don't use foundation anymore and use their High Protection Tinted Compact - Honey, its gives nice flawless coverage, excellent sun protection, almost free of chemicals.Also- Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion is excellent, use with a soft washcloth every night.

This product was so light on my skin! And I swear all the redness on my skin in my nostril and chin area DISAPPEARED after the first use. I pick at my chin a lot and I always am using tissues so my problem areas are my chin and nostril areas which seem to be perpetually red. My skin is very fair and I don’t struggle with acne or anything. This product was applied lightly to my problem areas and after it soaked in for about 5-10 minutes my skin was noticeably less red. It does have a slight sunscreen smell (but I like that so it doesn’t bother me). I will certainly be buying this product again.

Works great! It has made my skin smoother however, it has not helped with the redness I have caused by my rosacea. Also, if I washed my face more than once a day and apply my old face lotion my skin would be red and irritated even more than normal. With this lotion I can apply it to my face often during the day and it does not bother my skin. I would recommend this lotion if you have sensitive skin but not if you're looking for something to fix rosacea.

This has been my go-to moisturizer for a while now. The green tint helps alleviate some blotchiness/redness in skin tone, which I love because sometimes all you need to feel confident is a thin cover without extra concealer etc. Not greasy at all. SPF does not give off an overbearing scent - hardly notice and does not clog pores. Very gentle on sensitive skin. Can be layered if more moisture needed. In the winter, I do use an oil/serum first.

Not to be dramatic or anything, but SWEET JESUS THIS MOISTURIZER IS EVERYTHING. I have pale, dry skin which is prone to redness. I am 36, and have the beginning of fine lines on my forehead and around my mouth. This cream is so gentle and soothing. It immediately calms irritation, and leaves my skin feeling as soft as newborn baby butt. I think it even improves the fine lines on my forehead. I will of course be investigating other AVENE products at the first opportunity. I will not be without this moisturizer in the future.

Over the past decade, I have tried a variety of facial creams to help with the redness. (I do not have rosacea, but only small areas with occasional redness which appears due to dry air, wind, heat etc.). This product is absolutely the best of all I've tried, works well for everyday use, and does not appear to have any negative long-term effects. It is also very effective as face sunscreen for even as long as for several hours. [It does wash out in water and will disappear with lost of sweat though]. If I do not use it for a day or so, the problem areas (around nose/cheeks) are visibly red; but after only one day use of this product, they become less or almost invisible.I hope the product stays available forever. I tried other Avene products from the same line and they do not seem to be very helpful.

I'm an Avene junkie (I'm currently have six different Avene products on my vanity right now) but I'm not a fan of this one. I think it's the smell. I think they were trying to cover the sunscreen scent with perfume but that just made things worse. The smell literally gets worse as the days goes on - maybe b/c it mixes with sweat? Whatever it is, it is not pleasing. The sunscreen & the green tint are great ideas and work great - I just hope they'll fix the scent issue.

Honestly I just bought this on a recommendation and didn’t know much about what it does. I admit I still don’t. All I know is my skin is softer and my make up goes on much nicer when I use it. I love it and I’m gonna keep using it. I’ll read what it’s for eventually someday :). SPF moisturizer is about all I know but it rocks!
