The Girl Who Came Out of the Woods

I have read all of Emily Barr's books and can truly say that this is my favourite, hands down.It's written with so much empathy and beautiful sensitivity for all characters, that it is completely believable and I wanted to lose myself in this book at every available opportunity.It's a superb book for any age. I can see how it would be great reading for a teen due to the age of Arty, the main character, but it chimes with any age, not dwelling on any specific age-related theme. It's simply very good writing and a compelling story.

good book but boring in some parts

This book said good condition.. it is not. Child s drawings and writing inside book and it feels like it's about to fall apart

I love Emily Barrs books but this one I couldn't get in to at all. Gave up after first couple of chapters.
