The locking tabs work great but the issue is releasing the tabs they need to be 1/2” longer to release the tool easier.

GREAT CONCEPT BUT… LACKS IN DURABILITY
The media could not be loaded. Okay I’m a tool fanatic! I have well over 100k in dewalt and Milwaukee tools and LOVE organisation! Whenever I saw this product I was super excited! I have purchased a ton of there battery holders for m18 and m12 and there tool holders as well. Long story short… there battery holders are GOLD!!!!!! I think they will last forever even after repeated use of taking batteries in and out… there tool holders on the other hand… I have broken at least 10 of them and repurchased because I really do LIKE the product but… it just isn’t durable enough for constant in and out of tools… really stinks. You can see in video that it’s an awesome concept where you can really organize but…. Unfortunately will break on you

Badly designed, unusable.
The tool mounts seem very sturdy, and I did appreciate that they were injection molded rather than the rough 3D printing found on so many similar items. The one star rating is because it is designed badly and completely unusable. The tabs that lock in the tool are far to short to release. In fact they are completely recessed inside the tools battery socket. Only about 1/8th of an inch extends past the tool body. That is not enough to squeeze and release the tool mount. See included photo. I actually had to use needle nose pliars to release the tool from this mount. In no way in my opinion is this product functional. If it could be redesigned with longer tabs on the lock release it would be perfect. Just 1/2 inch longer is all it would take.

Works pretty well
Mounted them under a cupboard in my garage above my work bench. I ended up cutting the little locking tabs off because they were too hard to unlock and the slide the tool off the way it’s mounted. Now that the tabs are removed they work excellent, and unless you had them mounted in a work van or trailer that’s moving, i don’t think you need them locked onto the mount

Besides the price being a little.... up there... I bought these as well as a "knock off" (to compare) and the quality is absolutely unbeatable. Well worth the couple extra bucks, full honesty. Durable and heavy duty, makes organizing SO EASY!
