EurotoolPLR-490.00 Value Series Pliers, Chain Nose, 4-1/2" Size

These are nice little pliers! I needed some smooth nosed pliers for leather sewing and I am mighty pleased with the smoothness of these pliers. Sometimes you buy new pliers and they are stiff to operate; however these operate nice and smooth. So for these old hands, it's great! The spring load is just right. It isn't actually a spring, it is two opposing little pieces of metal inside the handle that bounce back when you let up on them.Which is good because with all of the humidity in FL, rust of thin small metal springs is an issue.The size is also great! They fit very comfortably in the palm of my hand!The pliers handles, at their widest part are 2 5/8" wide.The length of the handle from the back end up to the neck where the green ends is 2 3/4" long.The spread of the needle nose is 3/8" when relaxed and open.And the depth of the throat from tip to jaw is 7/8".

They call it EuroTool yet it is made in Pakistan. I would prefer China because at least they didn’t hide Osama bin Laden

These are pliers. Just simple pliers. They don't save the world or anything, but they do their job. If you owned a pair made a few years back, you will notice that these current pliers look the same as the old, but the tips are not as fine. They are thicker and not as good for precision work as their predecessors. But if, unlike me, you never knew the earlier version existed, you will be in a state of ignorant semi-bliss with these straightforward, solid pliers.
