These work wonderfully, just as advertised! I have several pairs of nice shoes (some expensive, some inexpensive) that have the same problem -- smooth, slippery outsoles. Makes me wonder what shoe designers are thinking???? I sometimes have occasion to be in venues that have marble or other types of very smooth, shiny floors. Walking on these surfaces with my shoes that have slippery soles is a recipe for disaster. I have tried various remedies without success, but thought I would give the Slippy Gripz a try. I adhered them to a new pair of red pumps that have very smooth soles. They worked perfectly! So far the pads have stayed on, and I was able to safely walk across that slippery marble floor with confidence! I will be ordering more of these for all my other troublesome shoes.

Ordered a pair for some Frye boots which have a a very smooth slippery sole and it did the trick. Went dancing in them without a problem. I hope they last but I'm not planning on wearing my boots in harsh weather conditions (snow and ice). I was very impressed with a thank you hand written note from the company.

These work great for their intended purpose. I put them on a pair of heels that I love but couldn't wear because they were so slick. I was afraid to fall while wearing a skirt!! I've had them on a few weeks and they seem to be staying put. I don't wear those shoes everyday but I have worn them 4-5 times and they work very well!

I ordered 3 types of shoe non-skid pads from Amazon. These were the best and easily beat out Kiwi Non-Skid pads and Talk to the Heel non-skid pads. The Kiwi pads were the roughest of the three and had the best grip on the ground, but the Slippy Gripz were the only ones that stayed on my the suede soles of my shoes, and they provided almost as good a traction as the Kiwi pads. Overall, the Slippy Gripz have stayed on for several days through ice and snow, and that is far better than the other pads did. They have really provided a lot of traction.

They have great traction on carpet as well as hard surfaced floors. In addition to the instructions I took fine sand paper and sanded the bottom of shoes. I put them on black six inch pumps that had absolutely no traction.

I love these!!! Before I had these on, my heels are super slippery. I had to really watch out when I walked on the floor coz sometimes I randomly skid (which was embarassing when that happened). These are just perfect! I can walk faster now without afraid that I might skid or fall. I was going to order 3 more for other heels, but they only had 1 left. Please make more available! I will definitely order more. Thank you!!

Caveat: I've only been wearing these for a few days now.That aside, these work very well for me. I've seen reviews of these and other similar products where users complain that the pads come off too quickly. They adhered quite well to my boots, and I am very hard on my shoes. I tend to go through a pair of shoes in about 6 months, so if they'll stay on my boots, they should stay on your shoes too.I followed the instructions and first gently wiped the soles of my shoes with a damp paper towel. Afterward I took the provided alcohol wipes and thoroughly cleaned the area where I intended to apply the pads. Per the instructions I waited for that to dry, about an hour - maybe a bit longer. I think waiting until the shoes are dry is key.Finally I applied the pads. I don't slip at all anymore, and it looks as if they'll help prevent the leather soles on my boots from wearing too quickly.One other fact that may or may not be relevant - I put the pads on after breaking in my boots for about 2 weeks. The sole has definitely worn a bit before I put the pads on. I'm not sure if putting the pads on brand-new leather soles would work better or worse. Another advantage of putting the pads on after wearing the boots first is that you can more easily see where the ball of your foot would meet the boot when walking, making it easier to apply the pad directly in the middle of that worn area.Recommended. I'm buying more for my other cowboy boots. If for some reason these come off too quickly I'll certainly revisit this review but based on the current adhesion I doubt it'll be an issue.

Fits well on even small show size (women's size 5.5-6). Very strong adhesive backing.
