Not yet used to de-frost, but looks good.

Does what it should
Only fault is bottom tray is so poor & thin it cracks or breaks easily which is not good as thats why I brought this particular one.

Gift for very happy parents
Bought for my parents who were rather sceptical when I told them what it was for. A few days later, I received an email from them to say they've used it twice and couldn't get over how quickly it defrosted "quicker than the microwave and didn't cost anything in electric!"

It works!
The tray defrosted bacon medallions in 35 minutes. I have not had the opportunity to test any other thicker density meat yet. The drip tray avoids messy work surfaces. It has a good quality finish which is easy to clean using silicon scourer provided. Easy to use and good value for money.
