First 100 Words Soft To Touch Board Books

This book is really nice and it has British English spelling and the pictures all have well contrasted backgrounds. I nearly didn't buy this because another reviewer said it was US spelling and that the pictures couldn't be clearly seen against their backgrounds because they matched to closely in colour - they are wrong on both points. The pages on colours do have matching colour backgrounds to the item pictured but the item is still clear to see and a small child when learning the names of colours won't get confused by a different coloured background. Very please with my purchase!

I bought this for my son who's less than 2 yrs old. I like that it's chunky and no sharp edges, soft cover and very colourful. The quality of the pages are great. It's made from thick cardboard. So far, it's surviving as my son can't tear it apart yet. I'm knocking off some stars as I think some words are not for 'first time talkers' like 'coloured paints', 'stacking rings' and 'tractor'. Also, the photos are badly edited that my son seems not so interested in it. I hope this item gets improved.

I am confused ,all pictures people posted in review ,the book looks massive and in menus there is no option for choosing dimensions.My book is MICRO and I have ordered two .I checked now descriptions ,yes it is described as very small book but 5 pictures from the reviews shows how big book is ? Am I missing sth here ? Will be returning

I was in two minds whether to buy this book or not because some of the reviews weren’t great. However, although some of the pictures have a very similar background and there are a few American terms my twins, both love looking at the book and I’m sure they’re learning from it.

Bought this for my 2.5 year old who has a speech delay and struggles with pointing - its a small book but it’s a perfect size if you wanted to take it out and about with you. Very sturdy and the pictures are easy to understand and bright. Recommend for a child any age.
